December 17, 20214 yr Hello Gang! For those of you that purchased the Kodiak, is anyone experiencing an immediate STAL STALL STALL on take off, followed by a hard roll to the left and the ground? I can't figure that out to save my life and wanted to inquire about this before posting a ticket with their support folks. Thanks! Sincerely, Dennis D. I believe it's not a bug it's feature From manual: TAKE-OFF RUDDER TRIM The Kodiak has a very strong pull to the left at maximum power. When taking off, we recommend using 30-50% right trim Also take a look at real Kodiak take off. December 17, 20214 yr Always....ALWAYS check to see if your sim did not spontaneously revert to legacy flight model! Can't tell you how many times that happened to me...well I can actually....3 times. 1st time took 2 days to figure out (MSFS was pretty new back then)...the next 2 times...15 seconds to fix, hehe. December 17, 20214 yr According to their FAQ, you should check that you have set your loadout weights and trim appropriately:https://simworksstudios.com/knowledge-base/kodiak-100/known-issues-kodiak-100.html Quote 1. Make sure that the plane is loaded within the CG limits of 14-40% MAC. To see this, open the weight & balance window in the simulator. If you don't see the CG schematic, drag the right edge of the window to make it bigger and reveal it. 2.Make sure that your take-off trim is set correctly. If your trim is set incorrectly, your plane will want to pitch up and you are likely to stall quickly. Controls will also feel light. Trim range for the Kodiak is: --0% at 14% CG --75% forward at 40% CG
