Which one??? 😆

there's only the one from what I know, sorry I should have been more specific, the firewall fuel valve on the pedestal. Not the two fuel valves overhead.

I have NEVER done that. You've got to be an (probably word not allowed) to leave your gear up. That's almost as daft as leaving it down, not to mention leaving the flaps fully down and wonder why you can't keep up with your mates. Tsk, some people eh?

especially if you've been flying a C172 for years and then switch to a retractable gear model.  Been there done that unfortunately.

I still remember the first time I tried to push back my Dreamfleet A36 and forgot to take the parking brake off and I damaged my tail assembly.  Had to reload the plane.  Some of these simulations are beyond awesome.

I always think it's good medicine to be able to laugh at yourself, which is exactly what I did today after spending about an hour not undertsanding why I couldn't cold start the Kodiak. I had forgotten to turn off the fuel shutoff valve on the pedestal!

In the scheme of the real world that happened to me about six weeks ago with my 8 hp walk-behind leaf shredder/vacuum.  Manual start.  Not easy to pull the starter rope of that 8 hp engine.  Wore blisters and pulled my back out.  Then several days later out to try again.  That is when I remembered the fuel shutoff valve!
😂

Here is a link to a Kodiak 100 checklist that has been posted to TO:
https://flightsim.to/file/24990/kodiak-100-sws-checklist

The Fuel shutoff is on this list.

Or spending 5 minutes trying to raise the gear on the C208 Caravan!

None of my control surfaces were moving. What in the world is wrong with the USB connections now? Time to crawl around behind the tower and check the USB plug cables. But actually I had toggled on MSFS Pause and left the toggle switch up instead of down.

No laughing here.  I've had to restart multiple CRJ flights because I could not taxi only to realize I forgot to remove the chocks..

Oh snap....no wonder.  OMG thank you, I might actually fly the word not allowed thing now.  word not allowed thing is worse than the A320 with the parking brake on in pushback.

I admit, it’s rather pathetic😅. Fortunately it‘s just a game. Unlike here: https://www.military.com/video/aircraft/civilian-aircraft/pilot-forgets-to-lower-landing-gear/1283495224001

Do they actually say that they forgot? More likely the landing gear was not deploying and they did an emergency landing.

How could they not hear that alarm?

The guy who filmed it says so in the video description on Youtube.

Maybe because the two pilots aren‘t the youngest?
