December 26, 20214 yr I always think it's good medicine to be able to laugh at yourself, which is exactly what I did today after spending about an hour not undertsanding why I couldn't cold start the Kodiak. I had forgotten to turn off the fuel shutoff valve on the pedestal! December 26, 20214 yr It's ok when those things happen staying within your "Ohhh I figured it out and I'm still happy" zone and don't jump straight into game rage (or is sim rage?)... 🤣 Intel i9 13900KS @ 5.8GHz - MSI MEG Z790 ACE Gaming - MSI RTX 4090 Suprim X - Corsair 96GB DDR5 6400MHz @ 6600MHz Dominator Titanium RGB - 2x Samsung 2TB 980 Pro + 3x 4TB 990 Pro M.2 SSD Raid 0 - LG 4K 55" OLED C1 - EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2 PSU
December 26, 20214 yr Kinda like when I try to start my scooter with the shutoff switch in the off position. And I end up taking it apart to find the problem. December 26, 20214 yr I can completely relate! I once became impatient with my slow progress into a 100 knot headwind over the Mediterranean Sea in an A320. I dialled up the speed by 50 knots. What do you mean I've run out of fuel? *emergency landing in Malaga* Doh! 9800X3D | 5080 | 32GB | 2TB NVME | Dell Ultrasharp U3415W 34" | 3440 x 1440 60Hz

I had forgotten to turn off the fuel shutoff valve on the pedestal! Have a laugh at MY expense: today I've wasted about 2,5 hours (with sim rate at 4x) flying the 787 from LFBD to KSEA and crashed it on the runway because: framerate was 10 fps (long haul framerate issue bug) lost VNAV and A/T functionalities when I resumed sim rate 1x for the descent BOOOOM!
