January 24, 20224 yr They both get to sit wherever they want to sit. One of our cats has taken a liking to my wife's chair in the living room. When she is sitting in it my wife won't disturb her but sits in a different chair. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

January 24, 20224 yr Moderator That appears to be a Norsk Skogkatt, i.e. a Norwegian forest cat. The Norwegian Forest Cat (lifeinnorway.net) As it happens, I was reading a Kindle book last night in which a skogkatt was brought into one of the short stories as a "hero" who helped find the source of the plague to be a rat infestation of four city garbage dumps. This took place in the city of Sohl, Thuringia-Franconia circa 1635. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

January 25, 20224 yr Yeah, I am guessing Main Coon myself. I like how it radiates "Whittle puddycat not amused" in the thumbnail. Wouldn't want to wrestle that cat when it's angry! ... it probably wants a cheeseburger .. 😉 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
January 25, 20224 yr Some of them look absolutely gorgeous and a bit scary. Not a cat you argue with. Edited January 25, 20224 yr by martin-w
January 25, 20224 yr I had a 28lb Maine Coon, who was the most mild mannered critter I've ever met in my life. He looked exactly like the cat in those pictures, except he had a friendly expression, wasn't so angry looking. And as for food, he ate just the same as the smaller cats. He absolutely loved everybody and everything he met, and wasn't afraid of anything. He acted like a dog, followed me everywhere I went, hung out with me all the time. He even played fetch like a dog. He loved dogs, but most dogs were just scared of him. He'd get an expression of his face like he was thinking "what's up with them ?"... He died over 30 years ago, and I still miss him terribly.
