January 31, 20224 yr Looking at getting one of the available San Diego sceneries for use in v5. ORBX and LatinVFR are both available, any opinions on which is the superior product? If it's any help I would be using it with FTX Global and without FTX SoCal. I see this has been asked before, but I am looking for opinions from people who may have used both versions of the scenery.
January 31, 20224 yr I prefer Orbx's ground polygon more than LatinVFR, as it looks more worn and dirty than LVFR's. Some parts of the buildings in LVFR'S look more cartoony to me, but the newer terminal towards the east side of the airport looks better in LVFR in my opinion. The surrounding photo scenery is higher resolution in LVFR'S product and looks more colorful. I still use Orbx however as the ground poly looks better in my opinion.

February 1, 20224 yr KSAN Orbx has only one problem repeatedly reported to Orbx and it concerns the loss of fps on the area airport at night with Dynamic Lighting activated. The problem was solved with the free DLs of Inibuilds for KSAN.
