March 10, 20224 yr Just watched this on YouTube purely because it mentioned “ultra graphics”, and “3090”, and I wanted to see how good it looked. I really wasn’t expecting to enjoy it, especially as I never fly the big stuff. But it grabbed me right to the end. Definitely the best video I have seen to date. Some superb camera work in there: 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.
March 10, 20224 yr That go around was wild. Absolutely worth the watch, just for that. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
March 10, 20224 yr Author Yeah, he captured the drama brilliantly. 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.
March 10, 20224 yr Author There is a little “cringe sequence” in there, but thankfully it’s small. Edited March 10, 20224 yr by Bilbosmeggins Typo 5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.

March 11, 20224 yr Well that was a lot better than I expected, very high production values and some nice little insights in to addons too. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
March 11, 20224 yr Yes, he has come a long way from his first video made more than 10 years ago with FS Recorder on the FS2004 (A Century of Flight) platform. March 11, 20224 yr That was a really good video! I wasn't expecting that quality. I've seen "realistic" flight sim vids before (you know the ones... kids coughing, light conversations...) but this one was far and away the best I've seen. Great job to the guy who made this! March 11, 20224 yr Nice video....could use some rudder at the end lol. I don't think the Airbus is one of those you can land or should land sideways like that. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 11, 20224 yr Love the takeoff roll with him shaking his hand on the throttles like he's going down a bumpy runway. Steve Aull Edited March 11, 20224 yr by SteveAull Steve Aull
March 11, 20224 yr 2 hours ago, Glenn Fitzpatrick said: The FlyByWire A320 is a NEO if that is what your asking. In the video, he says Bombardier.. I assume an outtake that got left in.. Bert
March 11, 20224 yr ah ... I believe the Bombardier designed "Airbus" is the A220 and it is basically being built by Airbus to avoid anti-Canadian tariffs that Boeing was trying to get implemented. Seems Boeing had no competitive models and was stuck trying to sell 190 seat aircraft in a 100 seat regional jet market and needed an edge. Not real sure of the exact details.
