If it's faster than a cessna I'm in lol

Someone please make a Lancair Legacy with twin turbochargers!!  (oh and TDS GTN/PMS GTN support)!

A CFI at our club flies a Lancair from Guelph (CNC4) to Brantford (CYFD) each day! It probably takes him longer to drive from his house to the airport in Guelph than the flight time from Guelph to Brantford. It is a slick airplane!

The Legacy is just the sexiest plane ever...  I miss the Realair version - dual GTNs (or GNSs), turbocharged with that lovely engine monitor...  You're easily doing 4 miles a minute at altitude in that bird.  Your bird is pretty fancy too though...  My bird (that's what my friend would say - but it's actually his bird lol) is pretty slow hehe.

Yes, slow planes take longer from point A to point B, but you see more and can do more in the plane!

tbh this sim is the one where i don't mind slower GA types... there's so much nice scenery to see... flying past it all like fsx does feel like a waste lol

Yeah - if you contact TDS they have an SDK to get the GTN Xi working too.  I understand people like the PMS unit - I just like my GTN to behave exactly like the real one so I use TDS.

I've tested the TDS already and its working fine in its limits regarding integration due to its nature as being trainer based (flightplans etc). I prefer the TDS too but the PMS has the better overall integration.

It's been around longer in VC form so yes it has more integrations.   I can put the TDS in any plane with PMS - but to allow for lpv glide path I'd need acess to files which are sometimes encrypted behind DRM.  This is why developers will have to integrate tht TDS.

And access to other HSI variables, like the various flags etc..  For it to be really good, it has to be properly implemented.

I also really liked the good old RealAir Legacy back in the day for P3D. Although just a little to speedy for my taste for VFR sightseeing but a lovely aircraft non the less Do you guys like the Simworks studios RV-14, recommend? I really might pick it up. Starting to get a little tired of steam gauge panels. Would be cool if Realsimgear made a G3X hardware unit. I have their GTN750 already. The RV-14 could be a really cool hardware panel project!

Have any of you guys flown the Aquila A210 btw, wonderful aircraft! We have one at my flight club and with all the Cessnas and Pipers the one I keep flying most is the Aquila. That is one aircraft I really would like to see in MSFS.

Yes, for sure..  My favorite go-to plane.   Great with a TDS GTN NXi in the panel 🙂

Does the Aquila 210 have FADEC engine controls?   The Aquila 210 cockpit I saw didn't have a mixture lever.  It looked like it just had throttle and prop pitch.

I think the WT G3X leaves a lot to be desired (surely, still better than the default). Does this have TDS virtual cockpit integration ?
