As a heads-up, those who are participating in the Sim Update 9 beta should receive an updated build soon.

No, the beta is public and comes with no watermarks, just like the Sim Update 8 beta.

What it means by soon? it will come today or the following days?

I have no clue, but I guess within the next 6 hours.

// 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

This was quicker than I thought.  I didn't expect them to have a new beta build this fast. My guess is, this beta build probably fixes the spad.next issue if they have a beta build this fast.  Some of the other issues probably take longer to fix so this beta build may not include fixes for other issues that can't be fixed as fast.

i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

Good quick response.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

I respectfully disagree, the fact that we keep getting development updates, says otherwise. Try XPlane, then you will know what "bad communication" really is.

I always thought xplane was quite good, especially with the dev blog. P3D on the other hand…

I can agree to a certain point, dev blog is really all about dev news and not necessarily development updates. XP users rarely know what is really going on behind the scenes from a dev. road map point of view. MS/Asobo have done a great job by keeping its user base informed on current development and what is coming in future updates.

Nice to try and derail a thread which is about MS/Asobo communicating, which they are doing several times a month through various channels. Amazing how completly word not allowed people can be.

The irony that the entire thread is about patch notes detailing a new update that is coming out today... I guess 'today' isn't quick enough anymore.

Right. Don’t wanna be in their shoes. No update mentioned and people will complain. And if update is mentioned people still complain when today is not fast enough. A classic dilemma

Edit: overlap with Chaotics update. Now let’s discuss what shortly means. Hopefully today 😉
