Just Flight's upcoming 757 for MSFS:
The 757-200/300 will be an all-new MSFS-native aircraft which will take full advantage of the SDK to create a visually stunning and incredibly immersive simulation of the 757-200 and 300. The team are still in the early stages of aircraft systems development and therefore further details will follow, but the aim is to ensure they are accessible to simmers of all experience levels, with a significant jump in systems depth versus the MSFS airliners, providing an authentic 757 flight deck experience.

Looks nice...but didn't PMDG leak, during a livestream last year, that they were planning to develop a 757 once they were done with getting out MSFS versions of their other Boeings?

They did. RSR has all but directly announced the 757 will be next after the 737NG/Max, 777, and 747 products. That said, JF has never been a PMDG competitor as they often go for the mid tier markets: Those who want to fly A to B but don't care about RNP approaches or IRS degradation.

Yes something like that and also you need to bear in mind this is being developed by BlueBird Simulations, it's not a Just Flight in-house production so the team at BlueBird will have the final say in terms of what type of product, system depth etc but currently, and this could change, they do seem happy to be pitching this in and around that middle ground that you allude to above.  It's a long way off yet, 2023 for this one but as you can see, visually, the progress is rather rapid.

That PMDG 757 "if they make it" product will not see MSFS until at least 2025 or 26 how many people that want a 757 are going to wait that long when the can probably get a decent one from JF for half the price 2 years earlier?

Not to turn this thread into a PMDG one, but since you asked... I would wait. I will have a lot of high fidelity airplanes to hold me off for 2.5 years, and I'd personally rather fly a PMDG 752 than a JF752.

Has BlueBird developed any prior aircraft? I just read the post a little closer and it sounds like they want to go beyond what we had in P3D with the QW752, which honestly was a really fantastic product.

There's a risk devs take in developing competing products, but competition is only a good thing for consumers so I wouldn't get too agitated by this news.

Interested to see how this one turns out, I'll probably end up with both 😆

I'm all for mid fidelity airliner models. Not everyone wants or can cope with (at least initially) a sim replicating the full experience so it's good to be able to point people at something that better suits their current ability or commitment level.

Anything been said about retrofit instruments like those found in FedEx 75s?

Someone asked if they were looking to do the FPDS upgrade on a Facebook comment and they replied with the following:
