May 8, 20224 yr A random question. Are you guys going to be interested in the upcoming PMDG 737 MAX family? Why yes or no? I've been thinking, in principle it's just yet another 737 after all, with slightly fancier displays.
May 8, 20224 yr This PMDG "product" has a lot of new things aboard, a new flight model included, but I agree with you: it's just another 737 after all. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

May 8, 20224 yr I'm looking forward to seeing heads explode when they announce the Max series and break the news that they won't be free. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
May 8, 20224 yr If airliners and, specifically, Boeing, do not interest you then don't bother. If you do, get ready for an "as real as it gets" experience. You obviously are not familiar with PMDG products (or are just baiting us). Edited May 8, 20224 yr by tamsini Mario Di Lauro

You must then know, that the 737 MAX-series, is far more, than just some "slightly fancier displays." Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

Ilari asked a simple question, and I see no reason why it should be considered to be "trolling". Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"? He asked "PMDG 737 MAX family? Why yes or no? I've been thinking, in principle it's just yet another 737 after all, with slightly fancier displays." So tell us Cristopher does the MAX simply have fancier displays? Or is his remarks so word not allowed it's a joke. If Anyone took 10 mins of there time to look up the "max" they could quicky see what it is, to say its just another 73 with "slightly fancier displays." is naive at best. If his question as he puts it is ”academic interest” then you would think he would do what a academic does....research the question. "Ilari asked a simple question" yer he did without thinking about it at all. I think I will buy a TT RS becasue its just another TT. David Murden. May 8, 20224 yr I’ll certainly be interested. The Max is interesting to me because it is a different take on the 737 and the range it has creates some interesting long range flight options (including trans Atlantic, particularly from my home airport). I've been thinking, in principle it's just yet another 737 after all, with slightly fancier displays. Unpopular question around these parts, but I think it's valid. Max shares a common type rating with NG, so it's designed to feel similar in flight and have similar systems. The large displays would, in fact, be the main difference that most sim pilots would notice. Flightsimmers sometimes obsess over pretty minor details, but from an "actually flying it in the sim" point of view the experience would be much closer to the NG rather than the Maddog, the Fenix, The BAe 146 or some other addon you could spend your money on. I'm a bit a of a 737 fan so I'm sure I'll end up buying it, but for those who are less inclined to buy everything PMDG makes I can imagine the 737-700 or -800 might do the job just fine. Oh, and with regards to the wider market: The Bredok 737 Max has sold well, and that is a pretty awful airplane, so I'd say there's a strong market for this type out there. May 8, 20224 yr But has anything been said about the MAX from PMDG? In his mail on Saturday Rob said first the 737NG, then 777 and then 747. Any 737 MAX seems very far away. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //
May 8, 20224 yr Author We know it's coming, but not when. Probably after the current fleet has been ported to MFS.
