I don't have the 737 for MSFS yet but I don't see why that would have changed - it basically cannot have changed from my understanding since the SSW model is a different aircraft model. Check the sim's aircraft selection window. There's no. I edited .CFG but it remains unchanged. I tested on the livery Portland Timbers.

It should use the file format it needs. You sure you haven't put a filter on the aircraft selection or are missing it somehow? I would be very surprised to find out you have to edit some config file to be able to select a different model.
May 10, 20224 yr I have an installation related question. Can i point the installer to which directory i want the files installed or is this completely automated and it auto detects my community folder ? The reason why i am asking is because all my downloads are on a separate drive and then linked to the actual community folder via addon linker. I would like to continue the same protocols for uniformity but the installation video did not go over this. So if someone who has installed it can let me know if there is an option to point the installation to a particular folder that would be greatly appreciated. May 10, 20224 yr I'm in! Took the plunge. Purchase and install process worked flawlessly. Compiled all three variants, downloaded several liveries and did a short flight by hand. No obvious issues. May 10, 20224 yr Do you have to study to fly this? Or is there a quick mode? I fly the CJ4, so I’m not a complete novice, but I also don’t have time to learn how a certain fuse works as I’m currently very busy.

I used it back when I bought my 1st PMDG 737, the NG. I didn't have a clue and after using it, I was good to go. Plan on 2 hours or so to get through it. ,\Community\pmdg-aircraft-737\Documentation\PMDG_737_MSFS_Tutorial.pdf i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

Thanks I move all my aircraft from the community folder to a seperate folder on another drive. I only load what i need for each individual flight, via Addon linker. No issues so far. Also when it comes to an update being avaialble, i just load it back in and they are always recognised each time. It will still initially install it into the community folder, but as said i then move it. If there is such a thing!!! If anything follow the included tutorial and you will be airborne in no time!
