Another Airbus? (Latin VFR A320 Neo)

Or at least asked FBW for a version of their mod to work with this plane. They could share the profits.  No one's flying the default A320 unless your on XBOX making videos claiming you like the NEO better than the A321 'NEO' (for those that don't understand watch the video above)... 😄

We did speak with FBW. They allowed us to use their code from a previous version of the A320, but that code wasn't compatible with the current version of the sim. Therefore we couldn't use it.

Their current code uses WASM and it causes huge issues with XBOX, and also it wasn't available for licensing.

Like we have mentioned in many other posts, the idea is not to compete with other 'study level' products, rather this is a representation of the aircraft to be used on the ingame marketplace and XBOX. Presently its very hard to get very detailed system wise aircraft into XBOX.

The rest of us, myself included, we have access to the game via PC and we may purchase addons outside the MP for better systems, such as FENIX and PMDG.

I like this plane we made, to just do a short flight without too much preparation and effort and get it going, flies well, and looks good. That's the main idea behind this concept for now. We will certainly look forward to improving it in the future.

We knew the release of this product was going to be full of expectation and comments, and we thank those who know exactly what is our goal here. Thanks!

Ricardo has always professional, helpful, and respectful, and his sceneries are top notch in my opinion. I wish many other developers (that shall go nameless) were as professional.

But $25 bucks for a model and texturing... XBox aside they are charging what a premium airport costs for a model, aerodynamics and textures.  They didn't have to program logic or displays or anything....

I created a livery from scratch for the FSW C414.  I'm not the fastest graphic designer but it took me well over 20 hours not including making nice screenshots to show off my livery.  I charged zero dollars for it.  I think 25 bucks is totally reasonable for a model and a bunch of textures.  We all know the cost of goods and services is rising.  We should support our developers.  LVFR also makes nice scenery addons.

Only 20 hours? Dang! You're quick! 🙂

25 U.S.D for a Model with default systems no thank you. LVfR stay where you belong. 5 to 10 U.S.D maybe for the model.

It's a digital product though. What is basically a stock plane shouldn't be more than 10 bucks. It would make good money still.

That's certainly all I want from an aircraft. I see from a previous post here that you plan to do the rest of the range, so if you get an A318 done you've got at least one confirmed sale (not much of an incentive, I know, but hey!)

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Not anymore. They haven't done any scenery since their P3D-port-over-to-MSFS in 2020.

They've chosen to go down the quick money route with things like car models or jetways models or now retextured default aircraft. I don't consider them a serious developer anymore. 25 dollars for this is almost worse than CaptainSim because at least CaptainSim had to model a new cockpit for their frankenstein aircraft series. I mean 25 dollars when the Fenix costs 60? But yeah good luck milking the poor XBOX crowd.

(Now before someone comes in with "But they are perfectly transparent and honest about it!", yes, I appreciate that, still doesn't change a thing about the products and their pricing).

Meh.  That's not the point.  People should be paid for their time.  25 bucks is cheaper than McDonald's nowadays for my kids.

I agree. And this "transparent and honest" thing is part of the sales pitch.😉

The point is that they are paid for their time, just not fully with the first sale already.

The Fenix is cheaper than what your family would pay in a proper restaurant. So what does that tell us? That the price is okay as long as there is anything non-related that costs more?
Like "200 dollars for a CaptainSim 757? That's a good deal, I mean that's much less than I pay for new tires on my car or for my monthly health insurance, so stop complaining!"
