Famous Flyer 3

Should be announced tomorrow I believe. Any predictions or wishes? Presumably it will be a Carenado model as before so looking at their back catalogue I'm hoping for a Turbo Commander (not really 'famous' I know) or a Stationair. Wonder what we'll actually get.

There was apparently a reference in the recent Milviz video to their A-1H Skyhawk being taken on to be released by another company so maybe it'll be that 🙂

(It's my 50th birthday tomorrow so something decent as the new release would be appreciated 🙂 )

Do you mean the A-1H Skyraider, or the A-4H Skyhawk ?

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Well, there have been some changes. Milviz were doing a Skyraider, but they are no longer doing it and are no longer Milviz (for commercial releases)! So, unless the Skyraider was almost complete, I doubt it would be that.

OS:     Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHz

SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

I read an article about the Spruce Goose that mentioned that Microsoft had been out and laser scanned it. for MSFS. The article implied that it was for the 40th anniversary celebration, but who knows?

Yes sorry it's the Skyraider.

Sorry about that

Maybe it‘s the AN-2.

That was already announced, so I doubt it.

The fact that the update is called SUX is a wee bit ominous.

We were originally meant to get the An2 instead of the Stearman so I think it remains a candidate.

I'm happy with that. I used to love the V tail in FS9.
