Get the most noticeable and relevant animations as crisp as possible, yes. Though I would suggest that a flight sim is not the environment to replicate everything to the most minute of detail, even on the most hi-spec of consumer level PC hardware.

What I think is that there are more than ample resources available to improve the animations of a few birds, emphasis:  a FEW birds.  On the tarmac at KSFO I'm seeing ~60% main thread use, and 45% GPU use, and that is looking at everything running on this PC at this moment in time.

 

Has anyone worked out how to stop the catering trucks driving through the wings? I am using the 737-700 and although this has a custom profile, this still happens. I can't see any way in the editor to stop this. Grateful for any thoughts.

request step by step installation for the diff platform, a utube video is more app. it will take maximum say 10 min to explain how to properly install the prod perfectly in diff platform. because after reading  maximum simmers are confused about the proper sequence of app. i think the developer also confused about this installation other wise they should come up with idea of a tutorial so that the customeridea how and when to use id, should be clarified by the dev. not every one is not in the earth is genius like u will be got how to proper inst in different platform. more over they posted an offline installer but every body is in doubt how and when to use it .there should enough tuto from the side of of the dev which they should do, as all the dev do for their prod, not every body is genius like u who understand what u are describe in the forum. please respected simmer and dev can any one please help us out how to install proper inst indiffernt platform, say in steam edition which most people are using it

Sorry Umberto - but this is BS. You sell a product, yet don't new new users get approved into the forums to ask for help or questions. Just seems absurd.

My biggest complaint -- there's ZERO user friendliness when it comes to updating this mod. How on earth do I know if I have the latest fixes when your installer just updates the same 2 files everytime. I realize it's a CDN issue, so get the CDN issue fixed. Broadcast a message to ALL your buyers (aka me) to let us know what to do to ensure we get an updated product.

This seems so simple, to me. I've heard nothing but amazing things with GSX and have been waiting on this for months, but now it seems this product is much to do about nothing. Hate to sound so harsh, but it rarely works (fully), there's no way to communicate via your forums (day 5 and I'm still not approved), and I have no way of knowing how to update GSX Pro to ensure I have the latest fixes you claim are there.

Download "addon manager" installer from the links in his post, open it, let it install. Done. You need a youtube video for that?

Additonally if you use 3rd party airports: open "FSDT Installer" -> GSX line, "config" -> all your 3rd party airports move from left to right column.

after installing addon on manager i didnt get any shortcut in the desktop. in that case which exe file should run fron add on folder frm prog86 should be clarified can u please help me out .the help is much more app. in this case i should nt run the universal inst or what and moreover what should be the sequence 

any way thanks for the reply there is no harm in posting the tutorial is no har rather it will help the customer out there like me so request for help what exe file should i run after installing the offline installer

Okay one last time: You install the addon manager. Done. No shortcut, no exe no nothing. Just start MSFS.

respected simmer the installation size is approx 329mb after the inst .is that ok using steam ver. sorry for irritate u. should i first install universal installer, 2nd run the updater through the menu and lastly run the offline installer or what, can u please help me out

Yes, you have to disable this airport in the FSD Installer GSX config.

5 days and still waiting to be approved to the forum , what a joke of a system but if you dont allow people in they cant ask questions i guess

Duplicate parking positions on the map can also mean that GSX cannot read the airport data because it's encrpyted [-> Marketplace] (the duplicates are then generated by the MSFS default airport data).

Quick update on my CTD experiences…

After a weekend of troubleshooting and completely uninstalling GSX I saw all the threads about the somehow MS-induced crashes.

I managed a couple of trouble free sessions without it, so decided to reinstall GSX and try again.

Despite a hiccup during the installation process (The FSDT installer managed to install GSX Pro, but crashed before it would install GSX World), where I uninstalled and then successfully reinstalled, I’ve had no more crashes after a couple of full flights today.

I sat out FSX and P3D so never had the pleasure of using GSX before, but it did look intriguing, and I’m very happy with it now that it seems to be working correctly.

the installation process is a bit convoluted (and that I think could definitely be improved), but I’d give my experiences using GSX itself today a pretty solid 4/5 in terms of immersion and ease of use.
