No, you have to select it from the in game settings menu by replacing TAA.  Takes just a second, and the swap is instant in-game. 

If you get slightly blurry flat screen panels, try adjusting the new sharpening slider (mine is half way so the trees etc. don't look over sharpened).  I got used to it fairly quickly and it is no major problem for me now.

This is from Aerosoft ENVA with PMDG 737-800:

As you can see Main thread and GPU thread are evenly balanced now in DX12. And the Render thread does not go bananas when panning around.

Quality pictures and nice frame rates - Just shows you what can be achieved now!

I reckon you can set your shadow maps to 6144 in the user config file without affecting performance on your 3090.  My 3080 does it easily, and the in cockpit shadows are nice and sharp - none of that feathered edge flickering effect.  Worth a try, as you can always put it back in a second.  Not available from the in sim menu.

4096 was still a bit soft at 4k resolution, and 8192 looked too sharp and did start to bring fps down.  6144 seems to be in the 'Goldilocks' zone - for 3080 / 3090 at least.

Just a heads up you can enable that Resizable BAR in BIOS under 4G decoding set to enabled then it might show. Its not going to do anything noticeable but its good to do it.

pretty sure that msfs does not support resizable bar.

This doesn't make much sense as SU10 is not out yet, and hence nVidia users are still waiting for the DX12 memory manager that was disabled early in the beta. I'm confused...

Yep good point however other games may. Up to the OP and maybe not worth the bother for 1 FPS on 30XX cards.

I know. Been using DLSS for 2 months. I thought you were trying to demonstrate amazing multithreading performance with DX12. Which is currently only working for AMD users.
