It’s out now, let me know when you test it and see if they put it back…

Please note that our new memory allocator for DX12 on PC will only be activated for Nvidia graphic card users once the next driver is available (will improve performance). Other graphic cards already benefit from the new allocator.

EDIT: As I'm already on the latest build, there's no need to do another test if I leave the beta. We just have to wait for a little longer I guess until the new game ready driver is out.

Possibly i am going to install the Studio driver, and in my situation as a visual Artist  i think its the best option  ( Photoshop, Lightroom etc.)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I can't imagine any damage done by installing the Studio Driver now and then replacing it with the Game-Ready driver when it becomes available.

No issues especially if you make a clean install with DDU

Who knows. As a software developer myself, I recommend that you wait for the Game Ready driver.  I stated my reasons here. I'm going to wait for the Game Ready driver myself.

Probably the only people that could give you a decent answer are people that frequently switch between the Game Ready and Studio drivers, or an NVidia employee that knows the details about the drivers.  And if you do switch between the drivers, you need to make sure you do a proper clean driver uninstall.  I'm not going to bother with a proper clean driver uninstall, I'll just wait for the Game Ready driver to come out.

It's not a big fuss for me to use DX 11 in the meantime.

Not sure if getting the studio driver will do much though. As I've already tested it, and performance in DX12 is not better than DX11. No multithreading like in the first beta.

I think I am going to just stay with my current driver which works, and stay on DX11.

I just did a flight with the older NVidia driver with DX 11 (I installed it around April or May of this year, I think).  Worked fine for me.  Just stay on your older NVidia driver and use DX 11.

I agree, so many changes with this update, and the last thing I want is some GPU driver instability added to the mix.

I have tried 11 and 12 and my FPS gain with DLSS on quality is......................................a BIG FAT.................0

I did test before a clean install of the new drivers.

Well, having issues loading some 3rd party airports with the PMDG.

Edit - It finally loaded, but it took like 10 minutes... Maybe just had to recompile or something...

Though I have had an ongoing problem (even before SU 10) with having to close and restart the game ONLY after finishing each flight to ensure the next departure airport loads, versus the preferred method of going to the menu and just restarting the flight without reloading the game. I think the issue I am having now might be related, who knows.

Performance seems to have taken a hit at some airports, won't mention names, but some are running considerably slower. Though I will have to test again on a "No Update day".

Just encountered the same with the PMDG 737. I was on the Store .20 version and got an update which now shows .21.

Ugh, at least I don't have too many 3rd party WASM aircraft.
