lol what

This one was pretty overhyped....

The exterior textures are pretty bland like Feelthere's and performance is about the same.

I honestly don't feel like either version is worth the money over the Asobo version in terms of looks nor performance.

I wish FlyTampa would tackle KLAX one day...

It doesn't look nor perform any better that FeelThere's version.

Are you sure it is installed/active??  I had the FT version and there is no comparison visually IMO.  Performance is surprisingly good for me but I have FPS locked at 30. I did not go under 30 while taxiing the Fenix 320 around the airport when I had AI traffic turned off.  AI will definitely start to hit performance here so If anyone is using AI traffic, be careful!  I am using FSLTL right now and have to keep IFR aircraft at 40 (I have Static set to 1).

Parking is mostly correct (much better than I thought)>  I did a flight out of there this morning with FSTLT enabled and injecting from flightradar24.  Gates looked OK...but it seems MSFS wants to always takeoff from the West...when 99.99% of the time the traffic departs to the West....not from it!   I know that briefly had East ops this am...but I think I've seen MSFS always choose the 07s and 06s. Not sure if there is a way to force it to depart from the 24s and 25s with real weather?

When I tested a little bit ago, 24/25's were being used.  For some reason, the poor SWA aircraft had to taxi from terminal 1 all the way to 25R when they would normally use 24L right next to their gates...

I'm glad you decided to clean that up...😏

I didn't actually think iniBuilds would be able to pull this off. With both enhanced default and FeelThere I had pretty terrible performance, bordering unplayable. Enter iniBuilds KLAX and we have a major hub with great performance. Even with AI traffic! If there ever was a good time to be a simmer... 😎

I did a benchmark from a 13 min session where I put the analog Caravan in a holding pattern above KLAX at 2500' and explored with the drone cam (DX12 | TAA | ultra | terrain LOD 150):

Average framerate: 35.7 FPS
Minimum framerate: 21.2 FPS
Maximum framerate: 51.1 FPS
1% low framerate: 21.4 FPS
0.1% low framerate: 13.3 FPS

The 1% low was a tad low, but average stays above 30fps which I didn't expect. Overall very smooth. And not only does it perform well - it also looks great. Wow.

I used real-time online traffic using FSLTL models and liveries and spotted for quite a while. All runways were in use. Landings and takeoffs as well as ground movement occured without any major hiccups. The AI even vacated after landing at the first available exits.

All I can say is: Impressive. Most impressive.

Did anyone happen to notice if there were ERGLs and in pavement guard lights?  I loaded it up this morning briefly before going to work and didn't notice them.  I also forgot to deactivate the default KLAX (didn't see any issues though).

I'm super interested in this one, but I still feel like the Asobo isn't really that bad? Waiting on some more reviews before deciding whether to jump on it or not...

It's definitely worth it.  They did a really great job.

Well I was ready to purchase and found I already have the feelthere offering.  So I am passing.  Not because this one isn't better, but because of the comparisons I am reading of Asobo, to Inbuilds, to Feelthere.  I fly into So Cal, but more often into KSNA or KVNY.  So what do I really need to pay for a mostly flyover airport?  At best I might fly into a purchased LAX to take a look, or perhaps once a year.  But after that, then what? And for that how much difference?

just bought it, thru simmarket, could not resist!!Hopefully it works out with this developer.  was originally waiting for FS Dreamteam to come out with it, since I had it forFSX.

10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home

Wonderful airport aside from a bit of an issue with eating VRAM. Getting GPU spikes when panning around. Chewwy was getting a similar thing on his stream.

I'm sure they will get it right after a few updates.

Great, three versions of enhanced KLAX and yet...

KSLC KMSP KDFW KPHX KATL

nada...

no doubt we need a fourth version of KLAX, lets get on it!

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

did a couple of short flights with pmdg 737-600 and 800, one from Montery California into KLAX, and the other KSAN into KLAX, used DX11 and DX12, scenery is really beauitufl, but this is the very ifirst time that I experienced as far as performance choppinness and stuttering, on the ground while taxing or panning.

Never experienced these problems with my other airports, just to name a few, CYYZ/Toronto, KORD/Ohara, KBOS/Boston, KFLL/Ft Lauderdale, KDCA/Ronald Reagain. KIAD/Dullesd, just to name a few

Really never expected this, most of the time at any major  airport from a developer like flightbeam flytampa  fs dreamteam my flights were smooth maybe a stutter hear and their but nothing like what I experieenced at KLAX tonight.  I was very dissappointed, I have a decent machine, just never ever had this before.

Hopefully they will have some updates, or maybe just not compatible to upate 10, who knows.

24s and 25s or was AI using the other direction?

I hope so too. The only way I could get this airport to run nicely with the PMDG was to push down my Object and Terrain LOD settings. It's quite unfortunate as I don't have to do this for FlyTampa & Flightbeam's airports which are as detailed (if not more).

I wish they had omitted some of those unnecessary finer details (like the interiors) for better performance. I really hope we see some updates as it's outstanding visually, just needs some further optimization.
