We are eager to receive your feedback! We need your attention on two features that work differently now on SU_11. Localization process https://devsupport.flightsimulator.com/articles/11061/new-localisation-process.html More strict control of the files present in a SimObject type AssetGroup. Documentation on this one will be made available today on DevSupport. General: ImGUI, the technology that we use to provide you the DevMode, has recently been updated. Although we have been performing a full pass on our editors, some issues may remain. Please do not hesitate to let us know about that on DevSupport! Scenery Editor: We fixed the issues with large independent projected meshes that disappeared when being moved. We fixed the gizmo scale axis. We fixed the “View only” on current package option that was not applied to vector shapes. Project Editor: We fixed an incorrect check for content info on type instead of name. We resized post build/export user agreement prompt correctly. We now save a project when importing an item. We fixed a crash that was happening when cleaning a package that has just been renamed. We fixed the “clean package” feature that was showing an error popup every time it was used. Aircraft Editor: We fixed a crash on checking “use_legacy_fuel”, by adding the missing value check. SimConnect: With the NavData API, it is now possible to request the type of a waypoint (in case of a ndb and a vor sharing the same ident and region code are part of different routes). We fixed the “Pause” system event. COMMUNITY VIDEO The talk of the player community for the past week has been the new Hot Air Balloon addon from Hype Performance Group. If you haven’t yet had a chance to see it for yourself, YouTuber Dreamsofwings recently posted a lengthy demo and review video. Spoiler alert: no, the balloon cannot do 400 knots (sorry Airforceproud95!), but it is nonetheless a highly enjoyable mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Check out the demo video below! SCREENSHOT CHALLENGE You can submit your screenshot via Twitter with #MSFSchallenge or the Weekly Forum Post! This week’s screenshot challenge: The Sky is Calling This past week our Screenshot Challenge was “Bear Week”. In addition to bears, we also accepted images of Alaska. October 15, 20223 yr FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are proper bears now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't I tell you guys that Asobo would come through for us??? Everyone was like, "Asobo will never have realistic bears, I'm just going to uninstall MSFS2020". I told you all so to be patient and place your faith in Asobo, for one day soon there would be the bears we all dreamed about. Well, today is the day! We now have the bear necessities to take MSFS2020 to the next level of realism that has to be seen to be believed.
