The most recent content I could find on it is a video on EEVBlog's channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug7xa-7sako&t=670s Temporary sim: 9700K @ 5GHz, 2TB NVMe SSD, RTX 3080Ti, MSFS + SPAD.NeXT

If so then that’s dedication for you. 👍 It has an outside view, but it's a runway with a PAPI. The external view reminds me of some of the early simulators that were night only. It is used for training by several of the companies that fly the B744. It's extremely accurate and continues to evolve. It now has an NG add-on. It is designed so it can be used by cockpit builders. A couple of 3rd party developers have make interfaces where it can be flown using P3d, X-plane or the new MSFS for external scenery. Although the panels are 2d, they are very well done. The community is small, but very professional and helpful. The developer is always present on the forum and will answer any questions. For me it's the best of both worlds, I get an excellent B744 and it works will with my P3d scenery. I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
November 20, 20223 yr Author Well....its been over a month since I started this thread or topic on whether there would be a new version of p3d arriving on the horizon. But. It would seem I was wrong regarding this (referncing their new entry on October 18th) so maybe v6 may never arrive?🤔 Never mind, we'll see.

I check here every day hoping to see that Major Thread announcing a new P3d version or significant update. It will happen. I can feel it (or maybe I'm just cold today here in Pennsylvania); I feel something. Soon!

It works well on a two-monitor system, with the PSX on one screen and MSFS (with a full screen forward view) on the other. Works incredibly well. The new version uses a dedicated 747 model on the MSFS side that uses WASM and in incredibly smooth and stutter free. November 28, 20223 yr LM just posted this one their Facebook page. Gaming Technology: The Future of Training | Lockheed Martin Quote For realistic training, simulations need to accurately depict how real assets act in a real environment. Today, Lockheed Martin is changing the game when it comes to increased simulation realism with help from Unreal Engine. Unreal Engine, an open and advanced 3D game engine developed by Epic Games, is engaged in a long-term research and development effort with Lockheed Martin to create more realistic simulation solutions. This technology capitalizes on commercial game engine advancements for an integrated, scalable architecture that leverages an extensible plugin framework for future training and visualization efforts. Lockheed Martin builds and delivers all sorts of technologies to customers around the world. This collaboration brings commercial and aerospace technologies together to increase customer readiness. No change visible on the prepar3d website yet... Kind Regards, Peter
