SkySimulations for around the same price as Fenix or PMDG? lol no. I seriously doubt this is any good.

This is a continuation of the light aircraft models they've produced for years.  I agree for $57 this a joke.  Their aircraft are far below the standard of MSFS's default aircraft (777, 747) so a price like this is basically looking to prey on the uninformed.  There's no EFB or any other bells this price point would call for.  I'm really disappointed this otherwise up front low end developer is now trying to pull a fast one on the community.  I'd give this effort $20 at the most for what's being offered here.😶

Very sceptic about this one. Out of the blue dropped on the store. Looks like a portover and a total absurd price for the quality it delivers.

I9 12900K @ 5.1ghz P-cores/ 4.0 ghz E-cores fixed HT off / Corsair iCue H150i Capellix Cooler/ MSI Z690 CARBON WiFi / 32GB Corsair DDR5 RAM @ 5200 mhz XMP on / 12GB MSI 4090 RTX Ventus 3 / 7,5 total TB SSD (2+2+2+1+0,5 all NVMe)/ PSU 850W Corsair / 27" (1080P)

If that's anything close to the standard they delivered on P3D, it would be a ridiculous price for such low-level garbage, and I'd hope they get review bombed ASAP. If this is - against all reasonable odds - study level, I apologize and will take a good look at it.

Looking at their webpage they have an MD-11 for P3D so is anyone able to comment on that ?
(Initial search for review looks promising https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.php?19415-Review-Sky-Simulations-McDonnell-Douglas-MD-11 )

As for it being a port-over, so was the Maddog and at least this comes in cheaper than that

Well from Simmarket on their P3D version:

"I really wanted to fly a MD11. THE PBR on this one looks great. The hand flying feels not bad at all.
However, in the inside, I feel like I just downloaded a freeware. For the price, I expected at least a fully working FMC and a cold and dark state. Thankfully I have Aivlasoft to make this work for my love of the MD11. The support team does not reply to emails or suggestions."

"Very cheaply made. The FCDU is very sketchy and doesn't support SID/STARS"

"VC Texture resolution is terrible. Especially the annunciator of the switch. Well, in the usual procedure of MD-11, all the annunciators will be turned off, so it will not be a big problem.
The exterior is very beautiful. The model is probably more beautiful than PMDG MD11.You can open the radar dome and open the engine access panel. It looks like CaptainSim. There is no cabin...The autopilot system is not specific to MD-11. It is close to the default aircraft. MD-11 has two autopilots, but with this add-on there is only one line."

I'd say the Maddog at least has a working FMC and a cold and dark state... stay away from that, you'd be lucky if it's Aerosoft-quality.

This is in the product description:

-EFB

There are two EFBs that will help manage the fuel, payload, doors and ground equipment.
• Set fuel quantity according to fuel schedule.
• Adjust the payload in the cabin and cargo holds (passenger and cargo configurations).
• Monitor CG for proper weight and balance.
• Control each door, maintenance mode and ground equipment.

Yep, doesn't sound good.

But we'll have to wait for someone to properly review this version to get an accurate view.

It looks reasonably good to me. If this was the only prospect of an MD-11 in MSFS, and priced lower, I would consider it. However, TFDi has one in the pipeline, so I'm happy to wait. One thing from the VC shots - is the undercarriage lever really that big?

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Usually when something gets released without ANY previous marketing / preview / hype building, it's to use the surprise effect and get as many innocuous buyers as possible before people realize how bad it is. Have seen that SO many times before...

Thank goodness for Avisim. I have been mugged in the past but not now.

Everyone is too skeptical to buy it so we’ll never actually know if it’s any good or not 😂

Thanks for the clarification.👍  What I'm looking for for this price point is an EFB with Simbrief/Navigraph integration.  If the default Longitude can pull in Navigraph charts so should any $57 add-on put on the market. The Aerosoft CRJ got me on it's lacking EFB but never again...

This same model has been out since FS9.  It looks exactly the same.  I had the FS9 version... So for those of us that's been around awhile we know exactly what this is.  It's a port over from FS9, to FSX, to P3D with no real changes that's not worth a fraction of the $57 asking price.
