The first screenshot there is super shiny and fake looking.  Looks like a P3D port.

I'm not into airliners but if I was I wouldn't go for this.  Very pricey for a dated look.  Maybe the systems are deep?

When add-on aircraft like this make the captainscam products look good, things have gone way too far.

M$ need to curate this garbage out of existance or at least cap what money can be asked for obviously inferior junk like this.

Unfortunately it was exactly like this when FSX launched, the quantity of low quality low effort addons to grab some cash was incredible. You can still see all of those poor items if you look through SimMarket.

The only difference is the world's demand for DLC didn't even exist in 2008, now that it's wrapped in a pretty little in-sim marketplace, developers will have a field day putting out word not allowed.

It's incumbent on the user to take the time to do the research unfortunately. I totally agree with you but I think there are perverse incentives for everyone involved, so can't see it changing.

It's hard to decide between this MD11 or the single Reshade profile for only 30 euro's. 🤣

Yet they still DO NOT, only to gripe about their purchase regrets later after there have been 5+ page threads saying DO NOT BUY.

I don't feel sorry for such users at all.

I know right, don't even know how some of these money grabs are allowed on there. I'm going to try upload a text file containing the word "gimme your money" for around $30 AUD... see what I can get.

Probably about $360 AUD from Simmarket purchases.

Just make sure you give it a vague description, no feature list, and a generic image preview, but a flashy name like "Ultimate Money Mover 2022-X for MSFS"

I got it and had it for P3D. It's better than CS turning the default 747 into the 777 for sure. Has a tablet with W&B and door control in cockpit. A lot of switch sounds missing. Has cold and dark. And some logic for APU start, ground power, and engine start. I will spend some more time with it today after SU11 is done.

Probably should have been $20, but again not terrible compared to some other offerings out there. The TFDI will be excellent as their 717 on P3D was pretty good.

For sure many would do themselves a favor by waiting for TFDI.  Give the MD-11 justice it deserves rather than a facade borrowed from other default sim aircraft. Products like this is a disservice to the simulator and the user community.

One question from me. Apart of the ridiculous price, can it do proper A->B flight without major issues? I mean decent FMS, working LNAV/VNAV?

Based on the stream I watched, while it could hypothetically do that, the level of frustration you would reach would be counterintuitive.

We know TFDi is working on an MD-11. Their 717 was a nightmare for years except for the only time it worked, in P3Dv3, nearly a year after we all bought it. Patches into x64 were poor, unexplained crashes, horrific memory management, and the customer service response was among the worst in the industry: "Ok, we'll give you a v4 DLL, here it is, doesn't work? Oh well it's end of life." I don't trust them to produce a launch day addon that is functional, but if they stick with the product, maybe they will be a bit redeemed.

Regardless, nobody should pay for this. It's an insanely low quality addon at an insanely high price. If you offered this to me as freeware I would likely still never fly it.
