WASM compiling isn't an issue for the iniBuild A310 poor FPS

Well, iniBuilds did some further digging and it looks like the WASM compiling issue isn't what is causing the poor FPS for some people in their Discord #general channel:

that’s for a traditional wasm package

  2. ours is different now

  3. being part of base and encryption

MJ6948eb91babde3f1d035ddfe4cf8b10d.webp?siToday my understanding is it’s pre compiled now

hence we have to be super careful what we say

We did extensive pre-release testing. This was not an issue raised by any of our testing team. To this day, I get equivalent fps on the A310 compared to the PMDG. It's not a simple issue. The fact is, some of these things do not crop up until it goes to wider testing.

    WASM probably isn't the issue

(I copy and pasted the text from their #General Discord channel but I don't know why Avsim is indenting the text in the weird way above).

Well, back to the drawing board I guess.  It explains why there is no fix for the poor FPS in the new SU11 beta today.

Unfortunate, that’s the one thing that I thought would be in today’s fix for sure.

Users are seeing an improvement though so they have made some changes - They just didn't want it to be a changelog item as they are still looking into it.

An iniBuilds representative in the MSFS Twitch stream right now said FPS may better in the new SU11 beta, for those who had poor FPS before for the A310.

Is anybody who was having poor FPS with the A310 before, now getting better FPS in the SU11 beta?

So what are they trying to say? That the A310 is just badly optimised per se?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

No. They never said that, nor was it implied. No idea where you're getting that from.

If it has nothing to with WASM/encryption etc. what's the explanation then that it has worse FPS than the Fenix?

I installed the Beta and compared to my FPS test on the prior version (same location/scenario).  I went from 35fps to 45fps.  This is now in line with the PMDG and Fenix.  I'm not sure I'd say I was having issues before but it was definitely heavier on frames than the others.  I run locked at 30fps so I never saw any stutters, etc as others were seeing...

Could it be that Fenix runs it’s prosim code outside of the sim?  Just a guess….

Not the case after todays update. On par with PMDG, better than Fenix (my favorite bird) FPS wise.

Roughly the same here.  Not great but certainly better.

I'm getting the same 19/20 FPS as before. No difference here. With all other planes I have more than 40 FPS. Just uninstalled it.
