Cockspur Gulfstream G650!! Could it be good?

When it comes to the Gulfstream avionics, we have the WT G3000 which is perfectly acceptable to me if we get a great visual and flight model.

Gulfstream puts the G3000 in its cockpits?

This is what the cockpit looks like of a G650 - It's not G3000 thats for sure.

Since I can remember Gulfstream has turned it's back to the fligntsim world. As much as I understand the legal and secret aspect it still ticks me off.

That's true.  Another benefit of WT in the sim 👍

I like Cockspur and currently enjoying the 510 Mustang, hey are consistent and are listening to the wants and needs of the flight sim community as far as bizjets.

As far as the Gulfstream 650 name, legally will Cockspur be forced to name it to something else? Will just "G650" suffice?

Like FlightFX has done with the "HJET"?

Based on my purchase of their C510, I won't be buying this.

Fool me once, etc.

The C510 is visually passable but lacks much fidelity and controlling the G1000 via their barely functional touchpad, is a new dimension in fiddly frustration.  (You need to be looking at the touchpad to control it, which means you can't also be looking at the MFD to see what you're adjusting!).

The C510 was hangared after abandoning it mid-flight.

Sounds are also sorely lacking - no switch sounds whatsoever, etc.

I've heard the 510 is a real POS too but looks good. Not my opinion but someone elses

Why, on God's good earth, simmers continue to support this, is completely beyond me. This reminds of FS98, where folks slapped a C172 cockpit into the visual representation of an Airbus just to be able to fly an "Airbus" (or something like that)

It's 2022: if you don't have access to the real plane for purposes of research, do a plane that you have access do, instead "frankenmodding" something.

I wouldn't go that far.

Going by my flight log it's better than Carenado.

Of course that's not saying much.

Certainly not my worst purchase, although that is as much down to WT than Cockspur.
