A Pilot's Life: Chapter 2 sent me there when I was pretending to fly cargo out of Paris for ASL.

It's why I bought it. To fly routes I wouldn't have thought of. And, like you, I wouldn't have thought of flying there. Turned out to be quite interesting. Apart from the iffy texture problem I discovered there😄

Actually, now I come to think about it, it wasn't Algeria, it was NE Morrocco. Oujda. GMFO I think.

I see, you had no choice. sounds like super fps 😀,

I tend to fly always in my few preferred areas, Norway, PNW, NZ, islands etc, preferably in IMC/MVFR.

re. Morocco: In 1927, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was appointed chief of the stopover airfield in the Tarfaya region, formerly known as Cape Juby.

I just looked into it again and it was actually Algiers. DAAG airport. And I just checked and it is indeed fixed so I think I was correct in that it was that problem and not the DX12 issue they are talking about.

Right, when I was young we had to fly without propellers, but tell that to those boys today.

Just for info, if you use CCleaner, you can have it clear the DirectX Shader cache every time you run it.

Ccleaner is a damaging and useless app at this point in time. You can do everything it does all without the aggressive adware push and useless registry "cleaning". It's snake oil at best and malware at worst.

Thanks. I've used it for years without a single problem. Not one, ever.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

It happens only when switching views to the outside.

As I remember correctly you have a cockpit and never switch to the outside view

You are correct. I do not switch views. In that case my reply is not relevant….
