4 issues still not fixed 2.5 years into MSFS lifespan

Game is pretty much a joke to be honest. Lots of CTD's. I was one of them where it ran flawlessly and thought all these people complaining about CTD were being "picky", since September last year it has got progressively worse. Now it's happening to me and many others, so I refuse to play it at the moment.

While I can understand your frustration, "many" doesn't appear to be correct.
How can I tell? Well, the sub-forum here, nor on the official forums, is flooded with messages complaining about frequent CTDs.

List your hardware, your overclocks (if any), whether you are using a powered USB hub for your controllers or not, your controllers and post screenshots here of your MSFS settings.
You're much more likely to get help that way.

hate to say it.  But on your end for sure.  One thing MSFS is known for is stability.  In fact CTD's are rare.  very rare.

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

So then there must be something on my end too,,,, I started having more CTDs after SU11, before that it was indeed very very rare...

Guess it's my new 6000 dollar computer that is the issue:p

My guess is your equipment is a joke, because very few users have problems.

If you paid $6000 for  a PC, get the people that sold it to you, to fix it so it works.

Could be.

5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

Its just strange coincidence that my ctd issues started with su11

With you on these.  Have you tried Spad.next ever?  It's become a must have for me

Have not tried Spad.next.  I will check it out.

USB sleep and disconnects cause CTD. Make sure sleep mode is disabled off all USB devices in the device manager and also all HID devices too. $6000 or $600 computer is irrelevant. It’s how it’s setup that counts.

let me know if any questions.  It's great for all sorts of home cockpit hardware.  But also great just for basic yoke/pedals/stick etc.

Coincidence perhaps but not necessarily strange. How long before or after SU 11 did your $6000 computer arrive?

I had a problem with my £1500 graphics card that went on for months. System would only crash in MSFS and P3D. Less so on P3D. I could stress test everything to death and no problems would show. Ever. I could play any game and nothing would crash. Stick on MSFS and most flights would crash. One day I decided I had had enough and the card had to go back but before I picked up the phone I checked on the ASUS website for any updates and saw that there was a VBIOS update. Installed it and what do you know, problem solved. They shipped these cards with a stability issue that they fixed with an update.

Moral of the story? It doesn't matter how much you pay for your hardware or how shiny and new it is it simply doesn't matter. You are subject to the same errors, flaws and mistakes that can crop up anywhere at any time.

Given that this is extremely stable for the vast majority of users and is without question the most stable sim I have ever used. And I have used them all. Then the most likely cause of your trouble, whether you want to hear it or not, is something in your configuration.

Do with that whatever you will.
