We thought it was more important, since this isn't a port of the mod but rebuilt from the ground up to an even higher standard, to include things like the split FMCs and split MFDs. Currently the rights to that audio is not available. This is not implemented due to licensing and third party API restrictions. Interactions with third party APIs for official sim features require licensing, legal agreements, guaranteed uptimes by the API provider, support SLAs, etc, to protect simmers from features just disappearing from the sim due to third party issues. As of right now there are no agreements in place for these features, unfortunately. I understand, thank you for the thorough explanations. I see that things are a bit tougher in those regards for the base sim compared to the 3rd party aircraft. But I'd certainly take systems depth over simbrief integration or checklists every day, so all good! For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

January 31, 20233 yr I've just joined MSFS beta just because of the snow coverage fix on the airports. How to leave beta? Can I now just leave the beta programme and my sim version just remains on 1.30.12.0? Or should I do nothing to not get any beta updates in the future? I've read somewhere that a beta ends with every major update for the sim and I would have to opt-in again if I wanted to keep the beta?

Matt has already responded but as a beta user I assure you that you can take a SimBrief FP, load it thru the World Map interface and it will load right up in your CJ4, usually intact. And if it does contain an error or you wish to make a chage the FMS will let you edit to your hearts content WITHOUT the dreaded error concerning “a broken flight plan, start over”. Actually easier they the map interface IMO -B Edited January 31, 20233 yr by btacon
January 31, 20233 yr Anything WT for GARMIN can remain. Remove ALL your TBM, CJ4 and Longitude Mods was the original message to the beta testers so you should probably do the same. -B

From today's release notes: Quote ⚠️The CJ4 and G3000 Working Title mods must be removed from your Community folder as they are no longer compatible with the AAU1 versions of the aircraft and have now been deprecated. Additionally, any current TBM or Longitude mods (including any FDE or lights mods) must also be removed or the aircraft may refuse to start, exhibit broken systems behavior, or display other incorrect functions.

(Previously, runways even at big airports could be almost entirely blanketed in snow, making them almost impossible to see.) I did not see this in the release notes that were linked to in this thread. Is this confirmed? Because it annoys me so much! Are the roads also going to be fixed? Thanks. -Tony@PVD Tony Moore
