One of my favorite sceneries. Not too expensive, beautiful surrounding area. Nice gateway for VFR or jetliner -- really neat approaches into there as well. I'd give it a 10/10. Hardly any FPS impact (if any at all), great attention to detail, price is right.

Not that familiar with the airport, but I think FSLTL may be placing the wrong type of aircraft there, as AI requests for pushback were being denied because of no pushback trucks available, and FSLTL was placing large commercial jets there despite the spaces seemingly being designated as GA....?

As far a purchase of the airport, the default seems pretty nice, so I guess its how fond you are of the airport, how familiar you are with it, and how many extra touches the payware can add that make it worth a buy.....

Lovely airport, far better than ASOBO handcrafted version.

Edited by polosim

Huge improvement, picked it up quite some time ago, flew out of there today actually, if there is a ground texture issue I didn't notice it but I'll have a closer look next time, no doubt they'll fix that anyway.

It is a lovely airport, but I noticed rectangular ground tearing in the vicinity.  However I also noticed that elsewhere too, and I'm led to believe that's the Orbx mesh conflicting with the new one.  Since I uninstalled it I've noticed no such tearing in other places (not yet checked NZQN), and it's expected Orbx will amend their mesh accordingly.

It's a good airport but I've had to delete it and reinstall the default Asobo. As mentioned in another post there is severe rectangular terrain shading issues both sides of the runway and houses to the west of runway 5 have disappeared, leaving just a satellite image.

I've never installed the Orbx mesh and there's no difference with an empty Community folder.

It all points to the IniScene NZQN being the problem.

Anyone know what's causing this?

I had textures missing at one end of the runway (similar to the DX12 issue, but I am running DX11).
When I encountered the missing textures, the PC stuttered for a few seconds, then froze, then I got the squelch of death and ended up back at the desktop.
I haven't had this for a long while.  Hopefully it is a single occurrence.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

My orbx mesh was messing up the WU. It wasn’t so noticeable high up but lower down I got a rolling wave of scenery loading in. I think I read orbx forum advice change from ‘it’s compatible’ to ‘maybe not so much’.

my NZ Wu works far better without the NZ orbx mesh anyway,

I’ve got iniscene Queenstown and recommend it. Especially you get it in the marketplace sale that’s on for NZ airports (except Christchurch) boo hiss etc.

It's a cracking airport.

Just to summarize: the scenery works well in WU12m without ORBX mesh, correct?

I was impatient and shelled out the full whack on Christchurch, but it's also lovely and IMO worth the money.  Patience will always get you the bargains, though.

I've not tried it since I removed the Orbx mesh, but there were some reports of issues there.  Maybe best to dig a little in the Discords.

I don't have Orbx mesh installed but same as scarter47 I'm still having some issues. A fairly large area to the west of the airport has no photogrammetry buildings and there are some strange elevation issues at the Skyline. Without the addon everything works fine, so I'd probably wait until there's a patch.
