Just Flight Baron Released

I think I know the answer from the product page but to these overhauls improve the systems on the default aircraft also? Or are the improved systems only on the gauge aircraft?

Just the analog gauge aircraft.

Engine sounds are not working for me when starting the aircraft from cold and dark scenarios. Seems to be SU12 related. Anyone also experiencing this?

Quick question before a purchase. Does the BlackSquare Baron come in versions without winglets? Almost all real world Barons are without winglets. But all the pictures on the BKSQ page on JustFlight have winglets. Thanks.

By default the Turbo charged version has winglets and tip tracks and the normally aspirated version doesn't but there are details on what to do if want to create an alternative version in the manual (Pg 72)

Just reviewing for possible purchase.

Anybody doing approaches and noticed any problems?

I seen this mentioned in the MSFS forum by:
“VanDisaster

First flight:

I did an ILS touch & go enroute, and COM2/NAV2 died immediately after ( using pms50 750 / radio stack combo ). Would also not hold glideslope - fixed that in the king air by the extra download from PMS50, so I’ll be looking for one for this after the flight.
Pilot air & cabin heat tooltips are back to front, took me a while to work out how to get my cabin heat up!

FM could do with a bit more inertia, otherwise it’s a nice job so far.”

I had previously posted the quote.

Has anyone had the problem mentioned?

How have normal routes / navigation / gauges and approaches worked out so far?

@vonmar I haven't had any instrumentation issues so far, but if you're a stickler for a flight model that is a plausible facsimile of the real world variant then you may take notice with the one included here.

It flies just fine, just not too closely to the one IRL.

Various lift/drag numbers need to be worked out so that climb, cruise and approach power settings make more sense in comparison.

Been working on it most of today, it's a WIP. But for me at least I am a bit happier with what I've attained thus far.

There does seem to be the odd very rare scenario where the avionics get messed up and goes blank or displays random errors. Slewing for example can trigger this state.

The work around is flip the avionics choice switches to an alternate type of GPS etc and then flip them back again. That seems to reset everything,

Nearing this year10,000 logged hours of FS flight from 1982 to present I am proud to state that zero hours over those years were logged in slew.

I agree, normally I follow the standard procedure of putting the aircraft on autopilot and heading into town for coffee as that is far more realistic 😄

In reality I find it mainly useful for joining multiplayer stream events that left some time earlier without whizzing around in accelerated time 😄    If people say it is not realistic I ask them when was the last time they downloaded current NOTAMS before making a MSFS flight plan.

Regardless of all that slewing is just one of several causes of this glitch. Restarting a flight can also do it for example and toggling the GPS setup to something else and back DOES fix it 😄

Looks like you might have a mod installed that's affecting it.

I have everything in my community folder disabled and it did not fix it.  The BSQ Bonanza and King Air are fine.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
