The best... if you fly real time. Which is not always the case for me. Doing a flight after work at 7pm UTC results in no traffic in many parts of the world due to the fact that it is 3am over there. For those flights, I would not like to miss my full AIG installation. Besides the fact that AIG offers Business Jet Traffic and a total of about 6-7 times more repaints worldwide.

Exactly.

One more vote for AIG+PSXT/RT Pro. Yes, it's not cheap and the interface of AIG still isn't exciting. However, it's the only one where I can enjoy busy airports worldwide, including in Europe when I fly after work, which usually means at night (in Germany).

Kind regards, Michael

FSTL, PSXT, RealTraffic is the best for me. The FSTL injector is limited, even with the new update. Aircraft are taking off/landing from the 'wrong' runway at bigger airports. The injector/msfs picks runways according to the metar winds, which is not always the real word runways in use.

I know it is the lazy AI implementation of msfs, not much FSTL can do about it.

The FSTL models look awesome, have super sounds and are easy on the frame rates!

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

I thought it was freeware and worth a try. Googled the RT, and...yikes!

For what it offers that everything else doesn't it's one of the best deals available for MSFS or P3d. Each to his own though.

for me isn't very realisitc when i am taxiing  the ia planes of psxt don't stop if i am priority

& RealTraffic has lousy coverage in China (for example),

so it is expensive, for me as a subscriber, NOT to have global coverage!

I understand why the subscription but ultimately I find it too expensive to pay a monthly subscription which is more than most other subscriptions I have just to have AI planes in a sim, which I would use only because the default live traffic is bad.

I've started using FSHud which is a one time purchase with FSLTL so I still get live traffic but which is controlled and managed by FSHud so I'm part of the traffic flow and it organizes it like actual ATC so there is no conflict between me and the others. Still a way to go but I find it much better to be part of the flow rather than ghost along with other traffic.

What settings are folks with mid range PCs using with FSTL?

Hi guys!!!
I agree that it is a really nice program both in terms of functioning and in terms of aesthetics/audio: very immersive sounds and stupendous aircraft lights, well-made model textures. But honestly I would like to point out that AIG is also an excellent program, (without forgetting absolutely who was the first to give us AI traffic with real liveries) I agree that his installations are a bit laborious, but in the end it pays off the effort and time dedicated.
Kai always keeps it evolving, now that all the models with specific textures for MSFS have been converted, the liveries and the quantity of models are many, and above all for those like me (both for geographical reasons, I live in Italy, and for work, due to the choice of where to fly -Europe-) he returns from work in the evening and has the possibility to fly at any hour of the day which is always busy. With FSLTL I would have to fly in the evening/night which is sometimes also very nice (especially with FSTL lights) but the stupendous scenography that MSFS builds for us is somewhat lost (sunrise and sunset, scenery). I would like to thank both developers for giving us these splendid programs for free and I think that in the end both of them complement each other for various reasons and aspects one with the other, both like everything have their pros and cons. A heartfelt thanks to both FSLTL and AIG!!! Finally I kindly ask you since I've just approached FSLTL which is the best configuration of the program for a medium power PC of a few years a little dinosaur (old):
  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 64GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB.
Thanks in advance to all, I await your more than welcome feedback! Good day friends!

Alessio
