uuummmm.....what? I don't get it, are they releasing the game again or something? Colour me confused!

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

Didn't see this one coming...! Raises lots of questions... Will it be a mandatory paid update...? A complete new version alongside MSFS 2020? Backwards compatible...? But well, lots of time to speculate about it: it's not 2024 yet. 😉

If I was to guess, looks like a bucket load of DLC to enhance the sim.  Only question is payware or free?

Yes!

Maybe a flushed out career mode?

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

I mean minus the new modes it looks the same

Though the tornado looked really neat

Dont know what this is exactly but looks like a whole lot of gameification (is that a word?)  While cool for lots of people  I hope we see some fixes for basic physics, aerodynamics, and weather.

I agree.  I'd love to see actual flight realism increased like ATC especially, weather, flight model, turbulence, water physics etc

If by gamification you mean implementation of real world aviation scenarios, yeah.

also, seasons, 3d trees (?), new weather system (?) etc.

did you guys noticed all the little details?? Pilots walking to their planes, updated avatars, vegetation movement from props/blades, new particle effects, different cloud types, at least 6 new planes. These guys, must have been working closely with HPG & ini...but most importantly, they have really been reading the community. This is going to be awesome and create a whole new world for 3rd party expansion.

To those wondering, I HIGHLY doubt that this will be a "new" sim. Why create a new sim while they have the current one to build off of? It may be a paid expansion...it may even be a completely different launcher from the "open world" MSFS (but I doubt it).

I hope its a DLC and a rebrand. Not gonna buy all addons again whatever. FS2020 was announced with a 10 years journey. I will throw this at Jorgs face if he lied
