Potential improvements for sky colors

Featured Replies

I don't use XP12 but I can clearly see that, to my taste, the colours are way better than MSFS. MSFS is far too yellow and orange, both sky and the clouds generally. The clouds used to be less yellow, but went bad with as with most other stuff in SU5.

Are you sure you were using real weather ?

Because I just gave it a go using a weather theme "scattered clouds" and got EXACTLY the same cloud layout 😕

Here are the colors in SU13 + sky colors mod:

yes I think so, but irrelevant as far as colors go, which are way too intense on clouds around 4:30 p.m., way too saturated.

MSFS looks like CGI, whereas XP looks more natural.

Sadly that is true. And that is why i was hoping to get the Mod to work. But it looks like something is amiss as i see absolutely no difference with/without it. 😕

believe it or not, that and night lights (taxiways) is the reason I still log hours in my x-plane logbook.

ingredients for optimal immersion: around 4:30 p.m,, MVFR, light rain, in VR.

Are you sure you are using MortThe2nd's values? With Biology's values there is almost no difference.

my game status say OFFLINE, but Xbox Insider hub says I have joined the beta. going by the ASSISTANCE bug I think I am indeed enlisted? is version 1.35.15.0 proof for SU14 beta?

I wonder if it is related to the current server issue they are having.

Unless it doesn't work with this latest build, it was working for me in 1.35.14.0 but when this one was released I left the beta and didn't even install it.
