I'm a bit confused here. The 787 flight model was not changed for SU13. Can you describe in more detail what you're referring to?

I don't think the world updates have any direct technical link to the beta.  They are just catching up with content updates as they promised.
Last week they did the USA, Italy and Malta, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Eastern Europe etc.
By the time the full update is rolled out the non-beta users are in for a shock - it will be a fair few GB!

Yes, this was the first 38.5kb of the update!

Some notes...

First time in, the loading screen seemed to hang half way through (circle stopped spinning etc.) but then it continued about 45 seconds later.

Shows 1.34.14.0 in the title bar as expected.

Taking an awful long time to load, and in fact, has now completely hung on the screen showing Dubrovnik, blue bar fully 100% to the right, but screen not done anything for 7 or 8 minutes - never had this before.

10 minutes now.  Too long.  Something has happened.  No internet or disk activity for a while, so it has hung.  I am shutting it down from task manager, and doing a reboot of the PC, and then will try launching again.

The new sky colours have caused it to crash!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I've had this since SU12.

Second time in after rebooting the PC.  Offered safe mode - took it!  Straight to main menu really fast then from world screen to ready to fly, fast also!    It doesn't scan Community in safe mode I believe, so that is part of the reason it was so quick.

I will try the B787 to see what @miguelpp is talking about.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

Strangely, the B787 was missing after starting from safe mode.  The 747 was there, but not 787.  Weird!  Lots of other deluxe/ultimate pack stuff missing as well.
Maybe it takes them out in safe mode.  Not really had to use safe mode much so never noticed.  Could be just a one off quirk.

Other than that, I took out the default C208.  No performance issues or stuttering.  Seems to be as good as should be for my PC.  Easily holding 60FPS 4k ultra, DLSS quality.  Seems silky smooth.

Now restarting in non-safe mode to try the 787.

Safe mode also takes out some folders under Official, not just community.

Updates for WU 2 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 12 13 14. Nothing for World Update seven. Australia already being perfect.

We need another WU Japan, it's always shortchanged.

A big tired of this, Nice simulator, but back to P3D 5.4.

Best.

Righto!  Straight in to the sim again, non-safe mode.  Loaded quick to world map and everything was back as expected.

Easily found the default B787-10 this time.  Selected the standard Boeing house job.  Loading time to runway was as expected, so no lag there

Now I don't know much about the 787.  I fly the PMDG B737-800 normally in the sim.  However, I took off fine, keeping it straight down the runway, retracted gear and flaps, took it on a wide circuit while I familiarised myself and had a bit of a play, it went where I wanted it, I lined it up, greased the landing, and apart from a bit of an oscillation I got into on deceleration for being too strong on the rudder (which was my fault), it all felt rather good!

This has to be one of the best default aircraft ever in a flight simulator, and I really should spend more time with it.  It feels rewarding to fly, and you can actually feel the momentum / inertia which really adds to it.
So I am not sure what the problem is for Miguel.  Maybe a dodgy add-on conflicting?

Just to add, even in the 787, the performance was stellar.  Smooth as silk.  DX11 (so no FG), 4k mainly ultra settings, 60 FPS.  DLSS Quality.  The Tobii eye tracker panning was faultlessly smooth, along with a good view out the side on the 787.

Anyway, this beta is go for testing - seems promising!

Edit:  OK.  I just saw Miguel's post.  If that is his attitude then it is a waste of time responding, and I couldn't detect any problems anyway.  I can at least thank him for getting me in the B787.    It's a blast!  I am going to read up on it a bit more.
