FSTrafffic by Justflight

Featured Replies

Hi Everybody,

I've found my system runs just fine once I start at an airport but as soon as FSTraffic ai aircraft start moving about I get stutters. Is there a way to use Justflight FSTraffic as static aircraft only?

Thanks

I try not to use FS Traffic, I find it awful...

Planes doing circuits at 100 ft,planes landing almost at the end of the runway, planes taxying into position and then staying there  forever...umpteen go arounds for no apparent reason..

Unfortunately their forums are not much help either..

I have been using FSLTL for months, and it works perfectly.

You could use FSLTL and set it up to use FS Traffic models.  You could then set it to place parked aircraft only.

I think the FSLTL models, sounds, lights are fantastic. No reason to change them.

Take a look at PSXTraffic + RealTraffic. That is what I use on both of my MSFS pc’s. Real traffic and sync’d …

I use AIG ac + FsTraffic ac as ac packages.

Most of the time I use AIG (excellent world airlines coverage compared to others), and the rest of the time FSLTL (reduced coverage).

Hey Mike, do you use it with FSLTL? If not, I can highly recommend it.

Gerard,

How would you compare the FPS hit with PSXTraffic compared to e.g.  FSLTL or FSTraffic?

Thanks,

I used PSXTraffic and the performance was similar to FSLTL. I cancelled it and went back to FSLTL because I don't want to pay a subscription to use AI traffic.

Hi,

Yeah, I'm also not in the habit of paying for ongoing subscriptions. I believe the only one I have right now is for Navigraph, which is a must have for me. Guess I could try and repaint the ms2020 versions and use their static setup and see how that works.

I was hoping that by having zero tugs available for FSTraffic no one would move, but they still get out and about.

Thanks everybody

I wouldn't say it works perfectly. If you start a second flight you have no AI traffic at all. Not a bug they can fix but still not perfect.

That just happens if you start the second flight without going back to the main menu after the first flight. If you go back to the menu and then start the second flight you have traffic.

I never start a new flight without restarting MSFS. Maybe that is why no CTDs, crashes, or weirdness.
