September 30, 20232 yr Who uses these tools alongside FSLTL? I have just downloaded them to test out, but AIflow looses connection after around 2-3 mins and tells me its a simconnect bug and to restart MSFS/? Also, what's the best settings to use with these tools? Seems like a myriad of choices!

Directly from their discord: Important The separation option is NOT to be used in conjunction with AI Ground / AI Flow / AI Separation. If you want/need to keep using those tools, turn OFF the separation option in the FSLTL injector. They will conflict with each other and lead to less than optimal results. We consider that combination as 'unsupported'. October 1, 20232 yr I use both with AIG, works perfectly and drastically increases immersion by preventing runway incursions, AI traffic getting stuck on the taxiways, airplanes not keeping separation to you etc. Not sure why it loses connection for you; make sure it also starts in admin mode if MSFS does too for you. As for the settings, make sure AIPlanespottingonly is set to 0; anything else you can basically leave at default. In some cases you might want to use AIForceLandingRunway (just delete the "//" in front of the line and add the ICAO code plus runways, e.g. "AIForceLandingRunway=KIAH,9,8L,8R"), e.g. when the winds are very low but alternating and MSFS constantly switches around its active runways. Using this you can effectively prevent to ever again have to see an AI aircraft taking off right into you while you're landing. I did make a few changes like lengthening the runway take off or landings (so the planes utilizes at least half of the most the runways etc) but leave out specific options with certain airports. Mostly because I don't care and don't have the time. Though not having runway issues/incursions does help. Pilot2ATC often has me hold short for a plane on final but the traffic is from AIG. November 6, 20232 yr Good morning, Is there also a way to force a runway to take off? I can't find anything in the documentation. For example on Orly LFPO, yesterday, the landings were on runway 25, I set AIForceLandingRunway=LFPO, 25.06. But therefore for takeoffs they all also left from the 25 whereas in reality, the takeoff runway at Orly is the 24.
November 6, 20232 yr I've never really understood why msfs is telling departing traffic to take off on rwy 27, whilst telling landing traffic to land on rwy 09. I've lost count of the number of times I've come face to face with a jet on approach or set up for a STAR only to find ATC instructions are at odds with the strength and direction of the wind. I know that coding a flight simulator can be pretty complex, but this part serms pretty basic to me. Another thing I've also noticed is the length of time it takes for landing traffic to vacate the runway forcing unnecessary go arounds. It was recently updated but I found that when you enable it, the aircraft constantly stop and also do not make smooth turns. They basically turn in 10-20 degree intervals. On another note, where in LNM can I see the number of injected aircraft? I haven't been able to find where to show that! Any help will be appreciated 🙂

Make sure you are seeing cull messages in the output console window. In the meantime, try a simpler setting to see if that works more as expected (leaving aside AICullMaxAIAllowedRandomSort which is a newer feature). June 6, 20241 yr Thank you @Clipper Ocean Spray for this amazing utility! Really liking using this program! The minimal hit to FPS is a game changer for me in VR. One question, will the ability to choose a runway exit when using ForcedLandings be considered? Currently aircraft landing on 23R in Manchester (EGCC) vacate at the very end of the runway. Ideally they should be exiting on BD which is the first high speed exit. I have FastVacate enabled and the speed is set to 40. But still on 23R in Manchester the aircraft don't vacate quick. Since this feature works so well for ForcedTaxiOut, I was wondering if this can be added to ForcedLandings. Thanks again!
