October 17, 20232 yr I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I'm inbound to Dublin EIDW. The wind is from 130deg. The Live ATC chatter is saying landings on 10L.... MSFS ATC (when I get in range) clears me for 10L. I'm like great everything's agreeing here! Then on short final I get a plane taking off straight at me.... October 17, 20232 yr Assuming you're using AIG or FSLTL for traffic, you can download AI Companion and use it to kill traffic that's departing from the wrong runway. It's a very useful app to have. https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=35642.0

If you use FSLTL you have an option in the top bar FSLTL window to remove nearby traffic in a 5km radius, useful in that situation. October 17, 20232 yr Wouldn't that remove ground traffic as well? Or does it only affect airborne traffic? Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

Yes, both ground and airborne because it's also needed to clear some bugged traffic in front of you on taxiways sometimes. You can press the reset traffic button after removing the nearby traffic and the ground traffic should come back again. October 17, 20232 yr Whilst it annoys me, I just ignore it like I ignore the airport vehicles that drive across the runway when I'm taking off or through me whenI am taxiing to the gate/parking. October 17, 20232 yr As mentioned the other week, the only airport in the sim I've had this issue with is MK Studios EIDW and the new runway (28R/10L). October 17, 20232 yr simple solution: PSXT and RealTraffic (sub). Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

Sure if you like absolutely no ATC chatter or ATC control of AI aircraft and even more odd aircraft behavior than with FSLTL. I was very disapointed in PSXT+RT and you have to pay for it. 3 hours ago, Alvega said: Yes, both ground and airborne because it's also needed to clear some bugged traffic in front of you on taxiways sometimes. I was approaching to phoneix the other day and I hit that button because everyone was stacked up, and it did not get rid of the traffic near me. It's like once they are cleared for approach it stops working or works only when it wants to and how it wants to. I usually just end up turning it off. Point being, all ATC/AI programs have some sort of major flaw. But it does seem FSLTL gotten worse with the wrong way takeoffs. Edited October 17, 20232 yr by aniiran

I only have FSLTL and it works for me, but I rarely need to use that feature because I don't usually fly to the big airports and also rarely see traffic landing on the opposite runway. That's a possibility. I am using a lot of AIG models and liveries. The problem I have notice stems from the settings vs. the real traffic at the airport. One setting works great for one airport say BOI or TUS but is absolutely too many aircraft for PHX or LAX. Sometimes at the big airports they will stack 3 on top of each other in close proximity. The problem is if I fly say TUS to PHX then I'd have to change the settings mid flight. I limit IFR to 100 aircraft in a 150km range, but that seems to be too much at certian times of day, but just right in the less busy times. Good AI is my biggest wish in MSFS. It seems like it should have been solved by now. We'll see what Beyond ATC can bring to the table. Edited October 17, 20232 yr by aniiran
