Must have addons

What are your top must have addons in XP12 right now? Freeware or payware.

Top must-have addon? Personally I would like to have just a few bug fixers.

Probably the most complete/high fidelity is the Hot Start Challenger

For GA pistons the JRollon SF260 is superb.  It's a little dated visually in the interior (but exterior is still nice).

I also really like the Aerobask Phenom 300 (though not as in depth - nor not as expensive as the CL35).

Additionally I like the VFlyteAir PA30 Twin Comanche.  The flight model doesn't seem quite right yet, but the panel with glass avionics is awesome!  They've even got the Garmin TXi engine monitor included!

And imo one needs Ortho scenery.  I personally cannot fly in XP12 over default terrain.  You can either make it yourself which is time consuming, or try AutoOrtho - which seems to be improving with every update.

Cheers, I use autoortho at moment with world Xplane addon.

One thing I can’t seem to get rid of, the baked in reflections at night in the cockpits? Anyway to get rid of them?

TrueEarth (ORBX) + VisualXP (Basic)

I won't fly without these, except for testing new betas or when troubleshooting:

1 AutoOrtho (SFD Global does a pretty good job too if you don't want to mess with AO at night or other occasions)

2 SimHeaven

3 FlyWithLua

4. X-ATC-Chatter

5. A-Better-Camera

6. LiveTraffic

Honorable mention: Reshade (Renders XP unstable at this time, don't close FWL in-sim windows, change planes or change airport and it flies good.)

I dont believe there is any such thing as a "must have" add on for especially xp12. But if one must insist, If you use trakir, or Dobii eye tracker than xcamera is a must, useful and simple to set up. Nothing else even aircraft I use as much.

I would have added the IXEG 737, but the XP12 version is in my hanger until they fix the many bugs.

Have you posted this in the IXEG forums?
