November 27, 20232 yr Thanks @AndreMP I have never gotten around to getting their discord to work properly for me, I get their announcements, but not the chat since they made some changes earlier this year. It is not great news, and I am sure that they are as frustrated as we are by the delay. By the sounds of it, its not just a delay but a rollback on completed work which must be a real mood killer in the office for them! With luck either Asobo with make the change in the SDK or Fenix will find a work around soon! Anthony Anthony Milner

Aamir said a few days ago that unlike Aerosoft or PMDG they don't have an "internal" channel to Asobo, they are apparently not interested since Fenix isn't on the Marketplace. They have reported this bug via the official channels.

I highly suspected (and feared) that because Fenix ----> was not planned as casual 10$ simple mainstream airplane multiplatform cash-grab from the beginning of development but as an ultra-realistic ProSim Airbus simulator for absolute enthusiasts. I really hope Aamir and his team can cope with the problems he currently has during the ongoing development and I wish him the best 🙂 maybe we will get the Fenix update we are all hoping for on Christmas. In the meantime let us gaze onto true greatness: I hope the cockpit will get some love and attention too in Version 2.
November 27, 20232 yr To add to the pain, Dave also mentioned as a last resort they may have to write their own exporter, which could take months.
November 27, 20232 yr I stopped to believe to that devs blah blah blah a long time ago. The great recent example is PMDG with their EFB. The main problems are behind the scene as usual. Financial or staff for example. Fenix A320 including the latest update has been (I can't write this word here probably) successfully. And this doesn't add financial stability to them as well. Plus a lot of A320 free mods and free ini and fbw. We will see initial block 2 in the future probably. But forget about 319 and 321 as well as about SL. And remember FS2024 doesn't need study level planes. It needs firefighters saving pebbles. 🤪 Edited November 27, 20232 yr by Vitold69

I had a conversation with V1 Sims a while back before B1 came out. I mentioned, "it feels like it fights the sim." and he agreed. B1 did fix a lot of the overall issues I have with the plane. That said, with how much of the airplane runs in the external app, coupled with their desire to have an as faithful as possible A320, without stooping to LVFR levels, I can see a path of pain. In terms of the ini and the FBW, the challenge is if you fly for a VA in the states, unless it's for vSPIRIT, you need the Fenix if you want to fly a bus.
November 27, 20232 yr It sucks seeing Devs go through these kinds of hang ups. A shader glitch that will probably be fixed a month after they spend $30,000 and 3 months working around it. Software development is never easy is it? Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
