November 3, 20232 yr Don't see many benefits to being on 11, only drawbacks in the UI, so why bother with the hassle of upgrading it? Scientifically proven and 100% inarguable that Windows releases always alternate good then bad (98✅, Me☹️, XP✅, Vista☹️, 7✅, 8☹️, 10✅, 11☹️) Edited November 3, 20232 yr by ckyliu ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
November 3, 20232 yr Hi Not looking back. Best OS ever. November 3, 20232 yr I had this debate with myself recently when I wiped my windows and do a fresh reinstall. After seeing several articles and tests show that windows 11 performs slightly worse in games and photo/video editing apps than 10, I decided to just stick with windows 10. / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot
November 3, 20232 yr No problems for me on two PC's: One PC WIN11 (upgrade from 10 ) : using P3D/4/5/6, Xplan11 and MSFS2020. Second PC, a new PC, came with WIN11 : using Xplane12, FSX-Steam (Level-D 767 and PMDG 737's), MSFS2020 (can use it on 2PC's / but only one at a time). Is it "still" a free Upgrade from 10? Does it still offer a testing/review time so if if does not meet your needs you can roll back to 10? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW

Just use WinaeroTweaker - problem solved. I experienced zero hassle with the upgrade. And whilst this is unscientific anecdotal feedback, if anything, I've experienced fewer issues with Win11. Most of the "issues" are user-generated. Then there's always the guy complaining that Windows won't run his scanner he bought in 1981.😆 Edited November 3, 20232 yr by Ricardo41

What “reported issues” would those be? Kind of reminds me of the people who wouldn’t update Windows XP to SP1 and later to Windows 7, because despite all the security patches and countless other updates and optimizations, they were scared of some “performance issue” someone reported that had been solved years ago. November 5, 20232 yr I changed to Windows 11 after I needed to reinstall my OS. Honestly, it works better with the CPU scheduling with the newer CPUs that have Performance and Efficiency cores. If your cores are all the same, then I don't think it makes a ton of difference, but I actually am fine with Windows 11. Edited November 5, 20232 yr by mmcmah
November 5, 20232 yr This question comes around every once in a while. I think the OP has enough info to make a decision. Some people just won't be convinced though. That's fine - best to leave them in peace on their W10 - there is really not that much difference anyway. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
