November 6, 20232 yr When flying IRL I use a tablet with moving map software to navigate, get WX/NOTAMS etc. Is there an app to do this with the sim?, I.E. connect to the sim and show progress on the app. Somebody did recommend one to me some time ago (I forget what it was called) but it only had US Coverage, I fly mostly in Europe. Anything out there? Burt
November 6, 20232 yr Aivlasoft EFB is your answer, and it has a one-month free trial too. I have been using it since initial release (FSX time if I recall correctly) and cannot fly without it. Highly recommend it. Bernard CPU = 12900K / GPU = Nvidia 3090 VRAM 24 GB / RAM = 64 GB / SSD = 2 TB 980 PRO PCle 4.0 NVMe™ M.2,
November 6, 20232 yr Navigraph+Simbrief package does all of those. 9950X3D, X870E ROG CROSSHAIR HERO, Corsair Dominator Titanium 64GB DDR5-6000 PC5-48000, ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16GB, 9100 PRO 4TB Samsung ,990 PRO 4TB Samsung, AX1600i 1600 Watt 80 Plus Titanium ATX, ASUS 360 ARGB EXTREME 360mm Liquid CPU Cooling Kit.
November 6, 20232 yr Aivlasoft is definitely a good option, although this is the first time I hear you can put it on a tablet. I've always used it on a second monitor. More frequently, though, I use Navigraph Charts on my tablet. The nice thing about Aiblasoft is that it can show your aircraft's vertical position in relation to the glide slope, which Navigraph doesn't do. I don't know if LNM can also show on a tablet, but people use that as well for putting the aircraft on a map.

It's basically a small programm being able to read data from simconnect, and most IRL naviagtion solutions have a corresponding input option. November 6, 20232 yr As has been mentioned, Simbrief and Navigraph work nicely. November 6, 20232 yr Would be really cool if there was a way to xfer flightplans back and forth to an iPad like the Garmin 210/510 allows via bluetooth. Foreflight / garmin pilot / fltplan go etc. SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
November 6, 20232 yr I use Garmin Pilot which is used Real World. I have Simbrief/Navigraph also, but I really like using real world software. Why not use the same software you use in the real world on your tablet - no additional EFB software required. I use xmapsy to connect Garmin Pilot / Foreflight to MSFS Edited November 6, 20232 yr by MrBitstFlyer CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090 Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440 Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

Anything out there? Burt If you are flying in North America and parts of the caribbean this app cannot be beat. It is owned by Garmin and is for both real world and for flight simulation. It links via simconnect to flight simulators. 100% free. No subscription costs. All procedures plates, moving map, live weather fronts and radar, wind depiction at all altitudes, flight plans depicted and editable on the moving map to adjust to changes in arrival/approach procedures. Just so much more so difficult to describe in a message. Click the titile of the linked topic below to see a review I posted in 2015. It has gotten better and better. Must connect to network on which the simulator is running. Versions for both IOS and Android. November 7, 20232 yr I think an app called Sky4Sim meets your requirements. It has flight planning and a moving map and weather, etc.
