Then up until today they were saying the A380 is still in the works but the target sim platforms have not been finalized. And now as we all suspected their A380 is indeed for MSFS, and MSFS alone. And it's also their own project as a payware add-on like their A300 and A350 (and unlike for-Asobo projects like the A310 and A320neo). So I do wonder about the simulation depth, if iniBuilds can build something deep purely out of expertise from pilots, or if they actually do have documentation. I think that's a question worth asking given the sentiment from other developers. We'll learn the answer to that in due time, however considering the tight partnership iniBuilds has with Asobo/Microsoft and the popularity of MSFS, it would not suprise me if the big M managed to get some agreements struck and limited access granted by the big boys at Toulouse.

December 23, 20232 yr Excited for this as I've been randomly watching some amazing cockpit vids from various A350 flights in the last few weeks. It's an incredible aircraft and I'm sure they'll do a decent enough job to keep us happy. Incidentally, I've just gone and bought KJFK off the app, it was 9 quid this morning and after the A350 announcement it bumped up to 16.99 🤐 B450 Tomahawk Max / Ryzen 7 5800x3D / RTX 3060ti 8G / Noctua NH-UI21S Max Cooling / 32G Patriot RAM / 1TB NVME / 450G SSD / Thrustmaster TCA & Throttle Quadrant / Xiaomi 32" Wide Curved Monitor 1440p 144hz
December 23, 20232 yr At the speed iniBuilds works, I wouldn't be surprised to see both the A350 and A380 next year.

December 23, 20232 yr @Tuskin38 @Wise87 Guys, I think they mean the 350 and 380 are NOT 'commissioned products' by MS/ASOBO. In other words, they will be their own products designed for MSFS. The airline should have all that. But, even if you do have that info you have to model/code it all. That's the big question as they are calling for 350 pilots and didn't show any other previews other than the outside. I would love to get excited about these 2 airplanes, but given they are planning for a release inside of a year with no other details, this is a big wait and see for me. Even with a big dev team (and it would have to be really big), they now have 3 modern airbuses on the books for release. The Neo, 350 and the 380. 2 of which are scheduled for this year. All of these aircraft have some really sophisticated systems and avionics. The NEO also has enough different features that the CEOs don't have. Even if you're not doing failures, this is a really big push. I wish them all the luck and am hopeful these will be good aircraft. Edited December 23, 20232 yr by Jeff Nielsen Jeff D. Ya that's a fair concern.. but keep in mind they've been working on the A380 for a while now, and they also said on discord the secret project work (i.e. A350) was started a while back (don't remember if they revealed exactly when). At least we know they're not just starting development on these or are in the initial stages of it. Also I believe the A350 borrows/shares some systems from the A380? In any case there seems to be hope for them to do a great job on these, let's see. I'm also waiting to see how deeply simulated the A300 is to get an indication of what sort of fidelity and quality they're shooting for their MSFS payware airliners (it's looking good from all what they've revealed so far, and given what they've done for their XP A300) Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD

That's what I'm hoping for. What concerned me was they're just now calling for pilots. Hopefully that's just for testing and not for info. On a side note, to be fair, their OMDB is a step up from their previous sceneries. Especially the ground (airfield lighting). I was glad to see that. Hopefully their other big airports will get updated. Anyways, I'm rooting for them. If they turn out be good, this will be a really big deal for the sim as far as payware airliners is concerned.
