I've bought the A300 for XP11, XP12 and MSFS. What a glorious beast.

Only issue so far was a small incompatibility with my Honeycomb Throttle when IAS was selected on the knob.

All I can say for me personally.  Done about 10 flights.  Each one has been great with aircraft responding as I would expect.  I'm having a blast flying this plane.  In fact I would say the A300 and the MD-88 are now my go to aircraft at the moment.

Unfortunately the only part I don't like is the VRAM usage with DX12 and FG, other then that great work and fun to fly.

It was pretty splendid before today's update, but the update is the icing on the cake.  Really nice to fly.  Very satisfying.

Just superb. My definitive workhorse for cargo until the MD-11 makes it out of the hangar. And even then, we'll see...

Win11 Pro I7-12700K @ 5.0 ghz (HT and Ecores on 20 Threads) 32GB ram RTX 4070TI Several fast M2 drives average FPS over 80 <>120... 😉
Running 2K 1440P 27" Gsync at 165Mhz and DX12 with FG (AIG at 40%)

Difference between this one and PMDG is 2GB on the same system...

Running already 4K stuff and the low res texture pack which still is looking great 🙂

Has anyone else had it just shut down and fall out of the sky yet? Its unflyable for me even after the update.  There's a thread in the Ini forum and a few other posts in Discord.  I think it could be a WASM or memory issue.

I fly mostly GA and Business jets around ORBX PNW | Im live near Boston so I also will fly in MA and ME |  KLEW- 3B1- KBED

Had a great flight post patch today.  All went well and the new sound balancing is fantastic.

Just a few issues left for me:

- throttle calibration/ idle thrust initiating reverse thrust

- 1x fuel flow with time acceleration o

- my zfw didn’t agree with the Simbrief zfw though that might be fixed when they update the Simbrief profile for the correct empty weight from the current patch.

All in all, this patch really cemented this aircraft as one of my favourites, I’m having a blast as a freight dog 😀

The sounds are much better in v1.0.2, although the engine start sound effects are still way too loud on the flight deck.  It's liveable.

Still getting hit by the startup CTD...about 50% of my attempts to start a flight end with a CTD after selecting airfield, parking, and time and selecting "FLY NOW".

It's good for short-to-medium legs now, but abbreviating long legs is a problem as you can't do time-accelerated flight (fuel burn doesn't change to reflect acceleration) nor can you teleport ahead on long flights due to fuel load changes being locked out after engine start.

It'll answer the mail for freight ops until the PMDG 777F shows up.

So I have problem with ILS after latest patch. I pre dial ILS frequency course. Turn on ILS indication, intercept ILS below, set autopilot NAV and LAND to ON. However, when airplane intercept glideslope autopilot doesn't follow it my altitude aircraft only tacks localizer but not GS. I'm I doing anything wrong?

The ZFW is 80000 now, I think the profile has been updated? I checked this morning as I was also waiting on a simbreif profile update and that was the only difference between my old profile.

I have not had any issues on the two ILS's I have done on v1.02.  I either vector myself using HDG mode or by going direct to IAF in NAV mode.  I arm V/L to intercept LOC and then arm Land once I am on localizer.  I assume you should be able to arm Land while on the intercept also without arming V/L but have not tried that yet.

Where did you find an updated profile?
