January 18, 20242 yr hm still getting that issue where the prop break won't disengage, my left prop is spinning fine, right one is still stuck, even with the switch turned to off. Edited January 18, 20242 yr by Tuskin38

Make sure to hit the AUX HYD button every single time before you move the prop break. If you move it without hitting the button first, it will become bugged exactly as you say (and no way to fix it except for restarting the flight). At least that was the case on the previous patch For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

January 18, 20242 yr I don't see it in the changelog but it seems the issue with the loss of hydraulics when taxiing in idle is fixed. At least it didn't occur in my first test. Also FOB and GW are now decreasing with engines running. These two were my main pet peeves. Nice to see they are fixed. The Prop Brake works fine here as well. Edited January 18, 20242 yr by RALF9636

Make sure to only move the Prop Brake switch when the green "Ready" light illuminates. To get the "Ready" light illuminated you either have to press the AUX HYD button below the parking brake or have engine 1 running with the condition lever in auto. The condition lever for engine 2 has to be in FTR (or Fuel SO). Works for me every time. Edited January 18, 20242 yr by RALF9636
January 18, 20242 yr My first flight with the updated ATR. Many subtle and a few not so subtle fixes. Quite impresed. I'm glad to say that the TOD marker no longer skitters out of sight if you enter a new altitude, typically for descent. Flying into Vegas right now. Current CRZ 25000. At about 170 miles out I dialed in my new altitude for FAF RWY 26R ILS at 3800. My previous experience was you could not do this as your TOD indicator disappeared. I always waited until I got within ten miles of TOD, and then it seemed to work better…but not always. Now after dialing in the lower altitude the TOD is rock solid and not “skittering”. The TOD marker seems improved. Bright yellow and easy to see even in a cluttered screen. YMMV & TANSTAAFL EDIT: Not so fast it seems. It appears that as I approach the TOD it does move, albeit slightly more after landing. i can say now with surety the TOD remains skittery! EDIT2: I managed to descend without VPATH, but picked it up about 9miles from touchdown from there it was a quick turn to final, switch to VLOC, APCH on and the plane picked up GS about 4.5 out landing to a flawless ILS. Now if I can get VPATH to perform predictably for me (could be a training need for me) I think this plane will become a favorite of mine -B Edited January 19, 20242 yr by btacon
January 18, 20242 yr As usual the download speeds inside the sim suck! 2.4 Mbits. I can do 100. What a joke...

January 18, 20242 yr Anything about the distance to the runway inside the last approach fix being correct now? Instead of half a mile off every single time? Edit: I think this was fixed, this is what they're referring to here: "Fixed a bug in DME distance calculation". It wasn't a DME distance calculation issue, but hey, I'll take it if they fixed the problem. Also, even in real life, the 3-letter code thing for the US is stupid. I got yelled at by NY Center in real life for using the "K" still. Like one letter is going to kill us all or something. Edited January 19, 20242 yr by mryan75

From Hotel mode, right prop in FTR, nudge it just a tiny hair forward, see the "Ready" indication up top, flip off the prop break, done.
January 19, 20242 yr They (he) added an optional hotspot overlay, which is great for me.
