Looks pretty good to me...seems there are improvements over previous releases and glad to see they are still supporting P3D.

Great to see V6 sceneries. I have some of their other sceneries and they are good.

Agree wholeheartedly. Come on PMDG. An installer is all we ask. Then we’ll have some planes to fly there. Until then, version 5.4 it is for me.

I bought this scenery a little while ago. It was a very nice surprise to see a new P3D scenery released. I will support anyone who still makes P3D scenery.

Sceenshots look good. Gonna buy it this week. Will be my first sierrasim scenery. Agree with Joseph that it is a nice surprise to see new P3D scenery. Perhaps more will come?

Bummer there is no upgrade path for those who purchased the MSFS version just a couple of weeks ago??

I must have missed this one a week ago when it released. Thanks for posting. Looks pretty good. I will likely pick this one up.

I also want to mention that Sierrasim have recently published some v6-only sceneries too (SKPS, MGGT, SKMD, NWWW) so its good to see a developer publishing for the latest P3D release. Let~s hope more developers follow suit.

So, what exactly does a "V6-only" scenery bring to the table anyway? Just looking at their screenshots, I don't really see anything that can't already be done in V5.

It's not V6-only. So what does your post bring to the table?

OS=WIN11 Home, Sim=P3D5 5.3 (P3D4 and FSX for install reasons)
Addons=ORBX, ASCA, AS, TOGA and tons of sceneries, aircraft

MB=Gigabyte AORUS Z790 Elite AX, CPU=i13900K, Cooling=Be quiet! Pure Loop II FX
GPU=KFA2 RTX3090 24 GB, RAM=64 GB DDR5-5600, HOTAS=Logitech G Saitek X52 Pro

More then this one IMHO.

If you read the description from the developer, what I noticed is that the PBR textures are listed as having been improved and there's GSX L2 compatibility now.

Its hard to tell from the screenshots exactly how big those PBR improvements are based on the different lighting conditions shown in the screenshots.

I would say this is not a massive update for SKMD  which probably explains why SierraSim elected to provide this v6 update for free for previous P3D purchasers of that scenery. Nonetheless its still appreciated that developers are putting v6 sceneries out there.

Plus if P3D v6 only it would have been compiled via the v6 SDK/PDK so relative performance should be good.

Cheers 🙂

I bought KMDT from Sierrasim and installed it in P3D5.4. No problems at all with installing. In my opinion the scenery looks fine; not bad at all. It blends very well with ORBX OLC North America. I compared it with google earth in top view. It resembles the real airport good. Two remarks: The water puddles (shown when it rains) don't look good at all; very repetitive and night lighting is good, but I can't hardly see the taxi and landing lights of my AC. Tested it with A2A C172.

Is it worth the price. 20 Euros is a little too much I think, 15 Euros would be better. On the other hand: I am glas there are still some developers who develop for P3D. So SierraSim: well done.
