Just read the changelog in your Fenix App. Questions like this are all answered there.

I did, and all I could find is CFM moved to XEM, and I don't know what that means. So a simple yes or no would be appreciated.

XEM = External Engine Modeling 😉

So yes, fuel burn should be correct now.

Thanks @Bobsk8 @Cpt_Piett

Yeah I just wasn't sure because of the GSX integration, I got confused when the fuel truck pulled up and GSX asked me to begin fueling. It all seemed to go normally anyway as I had the exact FOB when I arrived at the gate in LPPT according to the simbrief numbers. I'll pay closer attention later. 👍

Thanks.

The new GSX integration is quite impressive. When set up right, there’s no need for any interaction after selecting load with GSX in the EFB - except to specify pushback direction. It just works in the background so that we can focus on the important stuff in the cockpit.

I dislike that it's the other way around compared to Fenix2GSX: In Fenix2GSX I refuel the actual airplane by clicking GSX' "call refueling truck" (which is basically what happens every other airplane, like the PMDG, Maddog etc). Now here in B2 I'd have to click on the EFB and only then it calls GSX. Why is that a problem? Well, it's confusing because I literally have to do the opposite of what I do with every other addon. Also it's not possible to refuel and then wait e.g. 10 minutes before boarding, which again is possible with normal GSX control.
I therefore have disabled the options in the EFB and am still using GSX as before (call the refueling truck -> wait until it tells you to load the fuel -> click in the EFB on "load the aircraft").

Why do you want to wait 10 mins between fueling and boarding?

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

That’s interesting. I’d prefer all the other addons to sync with GSX like FB2 does. I’ve got it set up so that it starts with refueling+catering, then boarding.

I had GSX with P3D. So glad I didn't get it with MSFS, I got to the point where I totally ignored it in P3D. I thought it was a waste of time.

There is a small bug currently on the GSX integration of the Fenix, when calling for stairs on a remote parking the doors doesn't open automatically after the stairs are in place. When calling for a jetway it does open the doors correctly.

"Nothing to do -simulation".

That's the problem: The other addons aren't and likely won't be. So it makes just more sense to use the GSX controls and let GSX trigger the custom aircraft-specific refuel/boarding stuff.

For those who don't detest streams 🙂, V-1 will be doing one in 2 hours focusing on failures [EDIT: live now]

I mostly load into the flight 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure because I want to spend a couple of minutes droning around the airport scenery and watching AI traffic (with AIG there's always a never-before seen livery somewhere at an airport!). Therefore I refuel and then wait until around 15-20 minutes prior to departure before starting boarding (depending on the amount of pax, so on the ATR it's more like 10 minutes prior).
