Having selected the GNS 530 thru the tablet I now cant deselect it, anyone else seeing this?

I assume you bought the Tomahawk at the in-game market place.

From JF's support forum:

The GPS option getting stuck on the EFB is a known issue in the marketplace version of the PA-38 Tomahawk, and a new build with a fix is currently being processed by the marketplace team. The update should be available on the next marketplace update cycle.

  • Let's see how long I can resist this one - my track record with JF isn't good. 😉

  • I really enjoy flying the excellent Tomahawk and also made a few liveries for it  Download: https://flightsim.to/profile/TimHH/uploads

  • Oh it’ll be very good in VR, the real aircraft had excellent all round visibility as a design criteria. A friend and I took one on a tour around the southwestern tip of Australia many years ago,

I got a low voltage battery. How can I recharge it? In the checklist it says I can connect external power, but.... I dont see where? Overhaul did not help.

Dont resist it, it's gorgeous. And it's Just Flight, so you know it'll be taken care of as regards udates. Money well spent, in my view.

I don’t regret the purchase at all, it’s a very high quality addon with (IMO) a decent flight model. And yes, it is gorgeous 🙂

I saw the update today too. Great that the Storm Window can be open during the flight. I crashed quite a few times because I forgot to close it before takeoff.
In the real world the wind blowing through the window would warn you if it isn't closed.

Perhaps there is a market for an USB powered fan that can be controlled via simconnect.

I have a USB fan on the desk which I use when flying open cockpit aircraft in VR, it genuinely really adds something to the whole experience.
