I don’t like using the cache in MSFS itself and would prefer to not have this app also using cache… Or indeed where it saves the cache data? In the path option for the cache, I can’t remember what it says exactly, but I remember it doesn’t actually tell you where it is saving the cached data. Many thanks. It is stored in the program itself in a cache folder. Nothing to do with MSFS.

June 5, 20242 yr Author Well, not sure what's wrong but this takes forever to initialize a flight. MSFS opens fine, but when it's time to launch the flight it's taking 15 minutes to load and that is with Load High LOD images only when flying enabled or disabled. I've uninstalled the mod, cleared out all folders associated w/ its install, and reinstalled to no avail. I clearly have something wrong in the setup, or maybe it's a conflict w/ the PMDG 738 I'm trialing this with. June 5, 20242 yr Just updated the app and it appears to have zeroed out my cache.db file. I specified this path for the cache file. Maybe I didn't get that specified in time before it updated and wiped it. Should I insert a cache.db file outside the main program folder tree? June 5, 20242 yr Hmm Well 17GB is a lot of data to get wiped and reloaded every time you fly. Guess that's the way it works. I've allotted 30GB for the map app's cache. Using LNM with MSFS 2020 and currently the PMDG 737-700 on Windows PC
