because we are banned from talking about this very product on the xplane forumn in regards to the xp12 version, yet seemily its allowed on the ms2020 part of the forumn.

myself personally i use the paid version for ms2020 its and think its great,  yet it doesnt work well atl all with xp12,  My issue was once you give your money to the dev your knackered when trying to get any of it back for a product thats doesnt work well at al in xp12.

In short the dev is making money off free data. which is why the topic below is closed (wrongly in my opinion) , due to piracy conceans.

You probably didn't press the stop button in the enhancement map.  This will mean MSFS will look at the wrong server for it's maps.

Have you tried the troubleshooting tips in the manual, chapter 8.17 "A rainbow effect appears on the map"?:

Do not use DX12, it may cause problems
Turn off the Rolling Cache in the game
Clear the cache in the application
 

Thanks for helping, its not really a rainbow effect though.

All seemed fine until final approach and then kablamo, the tiles at the airport went crazy.

The manual did have some good tips to try though. I hope I can get it sorted.

Looking for input - tried this and my issue is around Albuquerque (city).  It seems no matter what choice of maps I use the city areas never updates.  I do have the payware KABQ installed, but even without it activated the same issue stands out.  The mountains to the east are clearly changed, and I can verify by changing the brightness or tint, but city never changes.  Is this to be expected, or???

I'll just say I think that your thinking is outmoded because tile providers WANT their tiles to be used.  Why else would they provided a public URL?  Basically, it is free advertising for them.

3 years in and they haven't pulled the plug yet.  Google tiles are branded, and Apple is charging a fee.  ARCGis wants to play with the big boys.  Bing is Bing.

Anybody notice FSHud be out of wack with these maps. My 3 last flights, They completely gave me the wrong heading for the airport.

 

Anyone knows if the the Pro version can be bought once but activated on 2 pc’s using the same router ?  ( 2 view pc’s in a WidevieW setup).

Some software is per pc only and others can be used on 2-3 pc’s for home users.

I mailed the developer but got an auto reply that he will reply asap and am still waiting,

Hi Ron

I’ve  just started using this program and use FSHud exclusively during my fights and haven’t noticed any issues with them playing together. This was for flights in the UK and Europe mainly ,however my last flight was KSLC to KLAS and that was perfect too.

What airports were you flying to? Happy to try on my system and get back to you.

Sorry, I didn't take screen shots, I fly in VR, not sure how to do it. But anyway, everyone's system is different, milage may vary, reckon it's worth $5 to find out if it's worth using?

You're rushing things a bit in my opinion.

Does anybody know if you can run this mod without the cache? I don’t like using the cache in MSFS itself and would prefer to not have this app also using cache…

 

Or indeed where it saves the cache data? In the path option for the cache, I can’t remember what it says exactly, but I remember it doesn’t actually tell you where it is saving the cached data.
