    I just upgraded my 3080ti to a 40 series for $6.99 lol.

  • Ok @David Roch I really thought this was going to be the latest "double your FPS" scam out there but I am literally in disbelief.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  I decided to give it

  • A little offtopic here but this software works wonders in xplane 12 too. From 40fps to 100fps with all settings maxed out at 4k. It's pure magic. I am speechless honestly.

New Version ist out! G-Sync officially supported which is great news and makes it a MUST buy in my opinion.

I’ll give it a go as I haven’t gotten Gsync to work before.

EDIT: I don't see a new update in Steam. Latest is Aug11 - X4 frame gen and gsync support.

Has anyone had success utilizing this to guarantee a smooth, constant,  v-synced half refresh rate of 30FPS?

I use a 60hz 4K TV and while the sim’s “half refresh rate” option USUALLY provides silky smoothness, it will stutter and lag if I throw a heavy CPU load at it (say the BAe-146 or Maddog on takeoff at LAX or SEA).

Similarly, my XP12 is glassy smooth at half refresh rate UNTIL I hit a heavy CPU area.

Thanks,

Steve

When you start it, it should show LSFG 2.3, in the Frame Generation box, on the upper right.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Okay, thats it - V2.3 is 11th August update. You have the latest version. I think @CallsignDE was a little late with the news. 😉

You don’t want to ALT-TAB or switch windows too much with this app….it’s still kinda janky. Get your flight fully set up, then start LSFG.

When that happens again, hit the windows key so your Start menu appears. Then, hover over the MSFS app in the tray (don’t click). Then hover over (don’t click) the ‘micro view’ of the sim that pops up - it should then preview the whole sim in full screen, and it shouldn’t be frozen. Finally, click the micro view window, and the sim should be unfrozen. Also, you may need to “unscale” before or after this process, and enable it again.

Thanks for the reply

Do you think it will be updated to allow me to do so?

Thanks

All of the sudden I can not anymore manage to run this tool. Each time the 5s counter is done and scaling should start, a black window is overlaying the sim window and I see nothing. Anyone else with this issue? Or does it work for you all? Bummer, now when I would have found the settings that work best for me, the tool doesnt work anymore...

I discovered that I always get FPS drops to 10-15 (where it stays until rebooting LSFG, then it happens again after some seconds) when landing or departing at airports with photogrammetry areas. Does anyone of you experience the same?

Yes I have the same problem. It makes me unable to land after my flights. MSFS becomes totally unresponsive.
