    I just upgraded my 3080ti to a 40 series for $6.99 lol.

  • Ok @David Roch I really thought this was going to be the latest "double your FPS" scam out there but I am literally in disbelief.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  I decided to give it

  • A little offtopic here but this software works wonders in xplane 12 too. From 40fps to 100fps with all settings maxed out at 4k. It's pure magic. I am speechless honestly.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but there are tons of replies on the thread...Just wondering if anyone has found any benefit from using DX12 with LSFG?

Is anyone else having problems after upgrading to version 2.2?

I am seeing ghosts of the image of the plane and the lights of the runways with a double image, but it only happens with nighttime scenarios, with daylight at least they are not noticeable. I don't know if what I see as ghosts is what the forums call artifacts.

G-Sync is not working in version 2.2. At least not for me. On my OLED TV, I can bring up an overlay displaying VRR info. Using LS, refresh rate stays fixed at 100 Hz. As soon as I unscale, refresh rate changes with FPS.

yeah, it's super annoying. just tried this out again in dx12...i'm blown away at the smoothness, but holy word not allowed, night time looks like a bad trip

P.S. if you want to revert, right click the title in your games menu, go to properties, select betas, and then go to 2.9 or another one. issue is gone in 2.1

Depends on what you are looking for. If you want to use it on top of classic frame generation on a RTX 4000 series card, DX12 is obviously a must. If not, it might be THE advantage of LS that it also works with DX11. But since Asobo fixed the most annoying drawback of DX12 (ground tile bleedthrough), I see no reason why to stick to DX11

Greetings, Chris

Hmm, OK Chris, cheers. I guess I'll have to fire up the sim later today and check it out.

I thought the same thing till I went back to DX11 last night. Been using DX12 exclusively for the past 2 or so years. I’ve gotta say, DX11 feels so much more robust. It’s snappy, frame times are far more consistent as well. I hope LSFG can stabilize further, because DX11 with frame gen is the holy grail.

No, a proper DX12 implementation is the holy grail. DX11 with frame generation via LSFG will always be kind of a workaround and will never reach the same quality that is possible with the dedicated solutions provided by nVIDIA and AMD.

Like you, I haven't tried DX11 for several years. Pretty much since I got the 4090 oct '22. But I get excellent frame time consistency (as long as I don't run crazy high AI traffic) with DX12 and native frame gen. I've tried LS many times now, and never been completely happy with it.

I went back to DX11 because my 3080 12GB VRAM is completely saturated at many large airports. And you're right now that I think of it, it does seem to provide more consistent FT.

Can someone please tell me. What I am doing wrong?

So I have the latest nvidia driver update.

Msfs updated

Inibuilds omdb latest update

And the 777 300er latest update

Latest bing maps fstl latest with settings low

Lossless scale with auto fps

Samsung g5 2k monitor 144hz

7950x3d

3080ti

6000mhz ram 32gb

Dx11

Vsync in game 1/3 at 48fps

I am taxing around airport and smooth for a while at 48 then it's drops to 34 and fluctuating fps.

With minor jitters.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I've tried iniBuilds OMDB with and without LS. Stutterfest. That was with relatively high traffic settings though. Seems to be a tricky airport in terms of performance.

Well to the bin it's tossed to then.

Kind of pathetic with today's modern tech.

And yet airports are not optimized.

Have you tried OMDB with LS but without auto fps? Set TLOD to various LODs in MSFS just as a test...maybe try 50, 100, 150, 200, 300 etc.
