I was forced to go back to fixed refresh. When I enable LS it seems to "fix" my GSync issues and the screen flashing goes away. Now happily using G-Sync Compatible in NVCP and Lossless together for a beautifully smooth experience. Just an fyi if anyone else has issues with G-Sync in the past and also has lossless. I thought LS is not compatible with G-Sync?

I just mean that on my system I was running: NVCP: Fixed Refresh 120Hz V-Sync App controlled and prefer Maximum Frame Rate GSync was not enabled at all due to black screen/flickering issues Lossless worked fine but I still had stutters especially if I tried locking frames in NVCP. I was at X2 scaling and I was getting 75/120 which is why I think I was getting stutters (numbers not evenly divisible) but when I tried to lock to 60 with X2 or 40 with X3 it got worse. Now I moved to: NVCP: G-Sync Compatible, 120 hz and Prefer Maximum frame rate but I have also enabled GSync in NVCP and enabled it for windowed and full screen on my monitor. I know it was enabled because MSFS starts going to a black screen every few seconds but then when I enable Lossless the black screen flashing stops, LS works and I get a perfectly smooth output and I see 80/120 despite using an X2 scaling. I also enabled VRR support in LS. So for my machine it definitely appears to be working and actually helping GSync remain stable... That's why I said I'm, not sure what not compatible means because it definitely works here. There could be certain aspects that don't work with GSync, I'm not sure... I hope that made sense! I thought the VRR support tab in LS was for FreeSync/GSync... Can I ask you if my settings above are correct for GSync with LS? Thank you! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

July 23, 20241 yr I see there is a newer version than the one I own. I don't use steam often. How do I update my version?

It was THE reason I stopped using LS, even with just 2x on top of FG, the input lag was tremendous, when moving the mouse to a clickspot or to the menue bar, it was more than a blink of the eye delayed, very noticable. Have you checked that with the G-Sync badge ingame? I tried every possible config and even the developers saying its not compatible so I am really wondering. If its looks smooth for you, perfect but I am not sure if its because of active G-Sync. Edited July 23, 20241 yr by CallsignDE

"Negligible" to me is not seeing enough difference in input lag to matter. I always like response times to be "snappy" which, admittedly, is probably a subjective thing. What is "tremendous" to you may very well be "negligible" to me. All I'm saying is that the tiny bit of input lag with LS on does not, for me, detract one bit from from the sim experience. Hence "negligible".
